Pros: Wonderful menu. Fast service of food. Cons: Food ordered did not meet the requirements agreed with the server. We were asked to leave our table early even though our own table hadn't been available when we arrived. Some of the food quality e.g. sides of rice, were poor. When concerns were raised, the response was meager.

Delicious food! I would definitely come back to explore the entire menu. The Aubergines and the Pork with Leeks were spectacular! Service was excellent also, they went out of their way to look after us.

Really enjoyed our night here. The food is the best Chinese I've had in Dublin -- real sense of authenticity and regional cooking. Our waiter kindly asked if I'd like a lower spice level for my prawn dish, which was appreciated (I like my food spicy, but this was a better level for me). It was so good. My only quibble -- 8.5 euro for a can of Belgian beer. Maybe it was the can.... Definitely going back. Hope they don't change a thing (except the price of Belgian beer!)

We love the food here. Dumplings are great. The salt and chilli squid could probably ease down on the salt. And background of very loud Taylor Swift album could probably change to something a little intrusive. Sorry dont need to nitpick. Service was very good and friendly!

Friendly and efficient staff and a great menu. I recommend the screwdriver bubble tea! It's a small space so probably best suited to solo diners, couples and small groups . I dont think you could fit a wheelchair in . They also have outdoor dinning I really like the music they play and they dont play it too loud which means you can still enjoy conversation which is good in some places background music makes hearing your friends difficult. Rustic decor. Brightly lit

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Dublin. The food is exceptional and very well priced. The service was also very good. The only disappointment was a table of Yanks, who decided to roar at each other during their meal. That's not the restaurants fault to be fair.

If you book for two people you get only 1 hour bookings, with three people you can stay 1.5 hrs… and so on… daft if you want starter, main course and desert.

We are regulars at Hakkahan, love the food it's is so fresh and delicious, massive choice and have loved everything I have ever ordered (I try new things each time). The service is quick friendly and efficient. Couldn't recommend it enough, hard to get a table.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed, had higher expectations. Service is really good but the tables are so close together and honestly quite sticky and unpleasant. The food was just like an “Irish Chinese”, I thought it would be more authentic or a bit different like Hang dai and it was really quite expensive, €80 for two people, one glass of wine one non alcoholic beer. Not the worst but I wouldn’t go back.

This restaurant has a diner vibe and if you were judging by appearances you might not expect such high quality food. You'd be wrong. It's absolutely excellent. A broad diverse menu to suit almost all preferences. A lovely helpful waiter. When she asks you if you want the heat in your chosen dish dialled down, say yes if you are iffy about heat. It's hot. But also very delicious and good value for money. Bathroom is teeny and has a steep step to access it.

We were a party of 6. This meant a 10% Service Charge was automatically added. The waiter asked 3 times if I wanted to add an additional tip. Given we were charged e21.00 for service, I would propose that you would not try to embarrass customers to give even more. Food was pretty good but not in line with other reviews. Starters were good. The chicken in the Kung Pao was overcooked and I suspect a reheat. Likewise for the duck. But I'll be back with a more considered view of the menu.

Really excellent food, friendly staff. Basil Duck and tofu dish were both fantastic. If I was to nitpick the tables are a little cramped. Highly recommend it.

Another beautiful meal at this hidden gem! The most beautiful Chinese food, everything is a flavour sensation. The restaurant itself could do with some updating or even to be made a little more comfortable and also, a coffee after dinner added to the menu would be very well received. However, even these issues could not deter us from returning again and again for the amazing food! Highly recommend!

According to my Chinese friend, the food here is authentic. We tried spicy seabass, mapo tofu, duck dumplings.. everything was delicious. The service was very fast and the waiters are very polite. Although, the tables were incredibly small (like coffee tables) and we were eating almost on the people sitting next to us.

Great food and great service. You should love spicy food before going there tho! We really enjoyed this authentic asian food, in this typical small restaurant. All the dishes were great and tasty. Waiter was super kind and caring, would definitely recommend eating there!
