Happy's Bar & Street Food started out as a month long Pop Up Fried Chicken joint serving out of a hatch on Dorset Street in December of 2020. One or two pop ups afterwards led us to our first permanent location on Aston Quay.

Located just beside Temple Bar we found our permanent home. Fried Chicken is our thing, and always will be, but we needed to add to that. A cocktail menu of contempary cocktails with a Happy Endings twist, giant cocktail buckets, super crisp world beers and small plates inspired from Street Food dished around the world, Happy's Bar & Street Food was born.

With a very sustainable approach to design, all chairs and plates where sourced second hand, nothing matched. Unconventional, eccentric and unapologetic. The chaos was the charm really. Thats still the way today, but we love it.

    Overpriced. Entertainment could have been more sophisticated. Fries very tasty. Burger was okay. Drinks were cheaply mixed. Service Team waa friendly I thought food is included in Bottomless. Maybe indicate that it is extra. I wish the theme of thw bottomless waa played more

    Very nice restaurant, informal atmosphere, kind service. Music a bit too loud and food is good but not really asian as stated, it's more european food with some oriental influences. Good value for money to be in Dublin. Recommended

    Myself and my husband went for dinner on a Friday evening in November. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was top-notch. The staff were super friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. We have eaten here numerous times before, and the quality of the food and range of offerings never fails to disappoint. On top of that, in Dublin, where everything is so overpriced at the moment, the value for money in this restaurant is fantastic! Highly recommend.

    The food was really good - not heavy or greasy. Lovely flavours. The staff were lovely - our waitress was so good with recommendations etc. the cocktails - Holy Schmokes, definitely recommend!

    I went for dinner in Happy's on Saturday night and I loved it!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, their ramen poutine fries are one of my favorite dishes ever! Really interesting specials as well, I would definitely recommend Happy's

    I love Happys. I've been there twice now for food and drinks. It's a lovely spot for casual bites in a fun ambience. The food is super tasty and they have a range of bespoke cocktails along with beer on draft. The service is super with friendly staff. The decor is fun and especially love the disco themed bathrooms! It will be my go-to spot for a catchup with friends.

    The bottomless brunch option is not good value. 30e each on top of your food bill, for selection of poor cocktails and beer. The cocktails did not seem to have much alcohol in them, and the service of the drinks wasn't fast. Best to save your 30e and buy a bottle of wine or prosecco instead. Even if you're a beer drinker, it's unlikely you'll drink more 4 in under 2 hours, so you'd be best ordering them individually as opposed to the bottomless option. Also there were two children present during part of the drag which I felt was inappropriate as the drag brunch should be adults only. The food was nice. The drag queen was good and very energetic.

    A great find! Monday-Thursday the BOGO cocktails are a great deal, and super yummy. The food was delicious as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff were great.

    Had a table booked here last night for 6 ended up been late (rang ahead ) and needed to add a person on to table was no problem at all staff very accommodating.. Food was very tasty loads of flavour portions big couldn’t finish what was ordered glad I skipped starters .. bar staff was happy to make me mocktails that wasn’t on menu as pregnant absolutely delish can’t wait to go back and try the real Ones next year ☺️.. overall good experience

    The food was delicious and the servers were fine. However despite it not being busy at all we were never checked in on and had to ask repeatedly for water. The €10 fee for missing one member of the booking is ridiculous- we spent a lot of money and have never been charged this fee in any other restaurant booked through open table. We were also charged the service fee for 6 people, despite being only 5. 80% of the restaurant was empty, so us being short 1 person had no impact on others being able to book a table. The servers seemed keen for us to leave despite this, collecting a sharing dessert thst wasn’t even half finished without asking first if we were finished. We found this all really annoying and it would turn us off returning.

    Overall food was very good. Great to have something we all know and love like burgers, but different. Service was a bit slow but servers were good. Would recommend. Would like the spice levels amped up a bit too or even have an option of a burger or side that’s spicy.

    Omg what an amazing experience, the drag brunch was so much fun! Queen served and involved anyone that wanted to get up and play games! Jess and Orla were amazing servers, really chatty and never left any guest waiting for a drink or food. Unreal.

    I usually dine alone and keep running into the same issue - lone diners are put in the less nice tables. This time I had a beautiful view to cleaning supplies and trash cans. However the Holy Shmokes cocktail and Satay Chicken Katsu were absolutely delicious and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I recommend the place and will visit again when I return to Dublin.

    Food was terrible, far too salty and chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil and burnt. Chips were €7-€8 so not cheap. Burgers were also salty and too greasy and again for €14-€17 with no chips way overpriced. Both of our stomachs were sore for the night after it which ruined our evening out. It was very noisy and cold as well. Service was really good at the table but they were dancing a lot at the door as you walk in.

    The burger was cold and the chicken patty was over cooked. I usually love their satay burger but was definitely not worth it. it was so noisy that I coups barely hear my friend. Very disappointed
