Food great and lovely venue. A real mixture of staff and engagement! At the entrance a rather uninspiring front desk staff member told us to sit at an empty table and said it would be 2 minutes then disappeared. Hardly a warm welcome! Then 10-15 minutes later they came and got us. The main waiter was nice but it was a mixed bag of services and we had to follow up and remind a few times. Nobody seemed to have their eye on the dynamics which is a surprise in such a big place! Food was excellent but the consistency of staff and engagement was disappointing.

Well….one of my difficult and rare dining experiences- too much rush from the beginning and I am a lot out for dining around the world - and talking to the staff from the beginning that we like slow service, drink a reasonable amount of wine but slow….it did not work out here…so we will not be back again….food is good, but we are not in such a restaurant to eat for life but to have a nice evening as a couple without being told frequently that our dining time is running out…we spent 280 plus Euros and just tried to exceed our 2 hour slot - well, awful already - for 20 minutes….

The ambiance is beautiful but the meals, though good, are not at the highest level, neither in quality or presentation. I guess is hard to deliver top quality when you need to service 100+ customers simulataneously.

Staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. There was a huge choice of dishes on the menu. Food was great with lovely side dishes and dressings. The restaurant setting is amazing from its original use as a Bank.

Firstly the service and staff were absolutely incredible. That level is service is hard to come by these days. It was also wonderful not to be rushed and food was served allowing time between dishes to relax. The only disappointment of the evening was the prices - charging for peppercorn sauce is excessive. Otherwise a great evening

We had a wonderful meal, availing of the very attractive 5euro corkage on Mondays, and the excellent value Express Menu. The name is confusing because we did not feel " expressed" along but served in a comfortable, timely manner. We were greeted warmly and our request for 2 chairs rather than banquette seating was facilitated. All the staff were friendly, courteous and attentive. The Smoked Mackeral Salad was very tasty, and generous. The Tail End Fillet was delicious and cooked as requested. Also the pepper sauce was tasty and nice consistency. The accompanying French fries were super! Finally we both had the rum bread and butter pudding. Delish! We had a wonderful evening in a beautiful building.

Good food, and good value food-wise. Great room/ambience. Wine menu is too expensive. Beer too expensive. Service poor. Nice waiter, with a friendly demeanor, but poor attention to detail. Forgot wine order, forgot a side dish. Slow to come with the bill even though we explained we were in a rush. Seemed to be as many waiting staff as tables, quantity doesn't make up for quality.
