    Couldn’t wait to try out the new hotspot, it certainly didn’t disappoint, had scallops to start and shared T-bone steak for mains. Food was superb & of great quality. Service was slick and teams knowledge of the food & wine was impressive.

    Had a great time in the new Hawksmoor on College Green. Great service, amazing dining room and delicious food. Only criticism is we though the 1kg of the chateaubriand with sides would be enough for four of us but we were left wanting more of the delicious cut. Overall I’d recommend and definitely go back. Tables are super for groups.

    Great night and great service and such a fabulous room. This was our 2nd visit in the last month and we will be back. The fact that you can BYOB for a modest corkage fee on a Monday makes a wonderful night out very affordable

    Beautiful setting, attentive staff. Shout out to barmen especially, excellent cheery sour cocktail. Starter of scallops and a beef carpaccio set the correct tone for a meal, really impressive. Ribeye was tender, accompanied by triple cooked chips and a tomato heritage salad, so delicious. Shared a yummy, peanut butter Louis and we still couldn’t finish it. It was a happy birthday meal and we left very happy.

    My gf has a few food allergies which they took great care about asking a number of times which food would no ok, food was lovely very quick after ordering, service was excellent however they did forget a couple of drinks but restaurant was busy , setting was lovely it’s a really elegant restaurant, only bad thing I can say it was my gf birthday which I book on booking and a couple of waitresses new it was her birthday and they never did any thing at least 3 other people got a small dessert with candle on the night , overall it was a good night and I’d highly recommended hawksmoor

    Service was great however the food was really disappointing. We ordered the Chateaubriand which came to 104 euros. The portion wasn’t particularly big considering the price and it didn’t include any sides or sauces. The steak was dry and chewy with very little flavour. The quality just wasn’t there especially for the price. I would not return or recommend to a friend unfortunately.

    The service was excellent. The place is great. The food was underwhelming and overpriced. Very sorry to say that because I wanted it to be good! The porterhouse steak tasted nice but was dry. The side of cabbage was ridiculous. Basically a ramekin of boiled cabbage. Very disappointed. Chips fine. Crockery very pedestrian.

    Very disappointing. Service was dreadful - had to ask three people to eventually get a drink delivered. Our bottle of wine was put in a cooler on the other side of the section- had to ask for it to be brought to our table. Yorkshire puddings were cremated. Had to ask for our sauces to go with our steak. By the time it came out the food was cold. Steak was quite tough . Manager discounted two cocktails , a side and two coffees which we appreciated. However it will be a while before I go back as it’s too expensive for such poor service and food.

    First visit and celebrated our anniversary—just the little acknowledgment of a, “Happy Anniversary,” at the front desk was sweet. Every bite and sip was outstanding—we loved the bone marrow and carpaccio for starters, had chateaubriand for main with Caesar & mac n cheese, then did the honeycomb pear cheesecake & ice cream for dessert. Oh, and the Gold Fashioned was so unique, definitely a signature drink that my husband couldn’t say no to for a second and third lol I appreciated the wine sommelier coming by the table as well—the whole evening felt very elevated. When the quality of the food matches the quality of service you know they’ve really figured it out. Made our next reservation the same night after we left! Lol thank you!!

    Dined here last night, staff were friendly but over done it with the filling of water and felt they were constantly at my table, had scallops for starter, got 3 for €18 , but were nothing special , the steak was very good but the sides were a let down ,overall it was a beautiful building with over the top table service and the food was average !!!

    Wonderful building and stunning refurb of a Dublin institution. Very good, understated service but would have benefitted from fewer changes of server, too many people involved. Food was excellent, but a few details missing like food arrived before plates... but overall a very treaty place to go with the carnivores in your life!

    Not often do you go out for a meal and every single thing that you're served is incredible, but that was the case for our anniversary here at Hawksmoor. Great venue and amazing service also made this special night.

    Amazing restaurant. Beautifully renovated. Great staff, super friendly, and knowledge. Really great food. It was a little expensive, however. 3 x starters, 3 x mains, 2 x Desert, 3 x cocktails, the cheapest bottle of red on the menu and 3 side dishes = €290 plus tip 15%. Highly recommend for a special occasion. They also have an early bird option, which looked very tasty and much more affordable.
