    Beautiful setting, attentive staff. Shout out to barmen especially, excellent cheery sour cocktail. Starter of scallops and a beef carpaccio set the correct tone for a meal, really impressive. Ribeye was tender, accompanied by triple cooked chips and a tomato heritage salad, so delicious. Shared a yummy, peanut butter Louis and we still couldn’t finish it. It was a happy birthday meal and we left very happy.

    My gf has a few food allergies which they took great care about asking a number of times which food would no ok, food was lovely very quick after ordering, service was excellent however they did forget a couple of drinks but restaurant was busy , setting was lovely it’s a really elegant restaurant, only bad thing I can say it was my gf birthday which I book on booking and a couple of waitresses new it was her birthday and they never did any thing at least 3 other people got a small dessert with candle on the night , overall it was a good night and I’d highly recommended hawksmoor

    The service was excellent. The place is great. The food was underwhelming and overpriced. Very sorry to say that because I wanted it to be good! The porterhouse steak tasted nice but was dry. The side of cabbage was ridiculous. Basically a ramekin of boiled cabbage. Very disappointed. Chips fine. Crockery very pedestrian.

    Very disappointing. Service was dreadful - had to ask three people to eventually get a drink delivered. Our bottle of wine was put in a cooler on the other side of the section- had to ask for it to be brought to our table. Yorkshire puddings were cremated. Had to ask for our sauces to go with our steak. By the time it came out the food was cold. Steak was quite tough . Manager discounted two cocktails , a side and two coffees which we appreciated. However it will be a while before I go back as it’s too expensive for such poor service and food.

    First visit and celebrated our anniversary—just the little acknowledgment of a, “Happy Anniversary,” at the front desk was sweet. Every bite and sip was outstanding—we loved the bone marrow and carpaccio for starters, had chateaubriand for main with Caesar & mac n cheese, then did the honeycomb pear cheesecake & ice cream for dessert. Oh, and the Gold Fashioned was so unique, definitely a signature drink that my husband couldn’t say no to for a second and third lol I appreciated the wine sommelier coming by the table as well—the whole evening felt very elevated. When the quality of the food matches the quality of service you know they’ve really figured it out. Made our next reservation the same night after we left! Lol thank you!!

    Dined here last night, staff were friendly but over done it with the filling of water and felt they were constantly at my table, had scallops for starter, got 3 for €18 , but were nothing special , the steak was very good but the sides were a let down ,overall it was a beautiful building with over the top table service and the food was average !!!

    Not often do you go out for a meal and every single thing that you're served is incredible, but that was the case for our anniversary here at Hawksmoor. Great venue and amazing service also made this special night.

    Amazing restaurant. Beautifully renovated. Great staff, super friendly, and knowledge. Really great food. It was a little expensive, however. 3 x starters, 3 x mains, 2 x Desert, 3 x cocktails, the cheapest bottle of red on the menu and 3 side dishes = €290 plus tip 15%. Highly recommend for a special occasion. They also have an early bird option, which looked very tasty and much more affordable.

    Great decadent dinner. This restaurant delivers on it’s promise of very well cooked quality classic food, with the best drinks, very good service and ambiance. Not cheap but good value relative to elsewhere when all things considered.

    beautiful setting- worth the visit for the building alone. loads of diners but still feels intimate- no table is top of another. feels spacious. that said the bar area at the front of the house at reception seems cold and cavernous. Seemed like a bit of a waste of space when we were there. Could be a fantastic bar area, but seemed a little like a draughty train station. Staff are super. Value for money- no, forget about it ( €4 for two slices of bread with butter made me chuckle). But you can get the express menu for a decent price. and the sunday roast seems before 5 pm like a great initiative. Overall, well worth a visit, but hard to justify the prices. and thats before the whole question of whether stakehouses have any place in our climate chaotic world anymore...

    You guys have everything to be a great steakhouse in Dublin, unfortunately the food wasn’t that great, all our sides dish were cold (specially the champ mash) The scallops: were good The bone marrow: onions were burnt so it took all the flavour of the food. Porterhouse: it was actually good, missed a bit of salt and pepper. Wine selection: amazing :)

    Food and service is taken to the next level her. I don’t know if another restaurant that competes with the flavour of the steak! As for starters, they were full of flavour and also cooked to perfection. I only feel it is very expensive - I know you do expect to pay premium rate for premium food but this goes beyond. We will be back but at those prices less often than we would like.

    My favourite restaurant in Dublin now! What a place! From the second we came in, every interaction with staff was great, service is perfect there. We were celebrating our anniversary and all staff was aware of it, and congratulated us. We started with cocktails by the bar, all great! For food, steak tartare was a great surprise. As a main, we ordered the T-bone, cooked to perfection! Definitely one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. And as a dessert, staff brought us the toffee pudding to celebrate our anniversary, q great end for an amazing night! Will definitely return to try other cuts.

    Service was fantastic at reception and bar, but not at the table. Our waitress disappeared quickly to chat with other servers and we had to flag down her colleagues at various points for service. The quality of the steak was good, but the price point did not match the overall quantity of food. Also we only ordered a main and side each, which took a considerable amount of time to arrive on a not so busy evening. Overall, steak, chips, and seafood can be found elsewhere with better value for money. Probably won't come back. Great social media campaigns, though!
