    Overall very impressed with Hawksmoor, upon ordering the waitress said 2 of the dishes were not available and my partner wanted one of them so that was disappointing. And one of the sides was a bit cold. But still a nice experience.

    It’s a very large, super busy, very noisy restaurant. Food was pretty good, but by no means fantastic. We shared a chateaubriand, which was well cooked, though I’ve had better cuts in more ordinary places. We had the creamed spinach, mash & gravy, and Mac/cheese as sides, which were all excellent. On three seperate occasions the waitress (who was lovely) had to come back and tell us that something we’d ordered was unavailable, it was a bit embarrassing for her at the end. She comp’d our dessert in the end, but overall it didn’t do much to our opinion of an ok dinner, in a busy chain restaurant.

    Service and food was exceptional. Couldn’t fault the place at all. A note there is a separate bar to the restaurant so you can go before your booking and get a drink. Drinks menus were extensive. Only small downside was that it is Christmas time and there is absolutely no Christmas atmosphere at all. The food is amazing. It is perfect for dates and large groups as the restaurant is very large. Would highly recommend

    Epic as always at Hawksmoor. We’ve been to London and New York and the new Dublin restaurant did not disappoint. As always the food is perfect, the restaurant has a great buzz about it but what really makes Harksmoor special is the staff, they are always incredibly attentive without being overbearing. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough it’s a must if in Dublin

    Food was very salty no need for chefs to salt the beef dripping fries as the beef dripping is salty in itself also my husbands steak was seasoned way to much it was not edible had to be sent bk to kitchen the chefs are a bit heavy handed with the salt mine was fine not seasoned much

    Every dish was delicious. Everything was well seasoned. Red Douro wine to accompany the steak was fab to drink by itself. Lovely buzzy atmosphere.

    Service Team were excellent, food was good but not outstanding. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, but it came out rare. Chips were lovely, but a little cold. Not sure about the bone marrow starter, but the scallops were delicious. My Moscow mule should have had crushed nice not whole and the mint should have been incorporated into the drink as it has a function, not just thrown on the top as mind did

    nice place, side dishes were brilliant, steak was nice enough but small portions for the price, wasn't blown away. ran out of one of the deserts on a saturday early afternoon which was disappointing but their sticky toffee made up for it! also no decent beers on the menu.

    The experience was fine but I wouldn't recommend. I ordered the burger, it arrived and the next thing the waitress whipped it from under my nose saying "wrong burger" and left me with my chips. I was left a bit confused with everyone around looking at us. My husband had his food so I insisted he ate it. Burger finally did arrive and was nice. It was a quiet time so it all felt awkward.

    I brought my friend for her birthday, the food and service were excellent. However there was no Christmas atmosphere whatsoever with the exception of a Poinsettia in reception. I really think a classic Christmas Tree and some tasteful garlands would be beautiful. The Restaurant needs to have some sort of soft furnishings or acoustic absorbing solution. I also felt 2hrs to eat a Starter, Main, Desert and Coffee and possibly a Cocktail it way way too rushed especially being an expensive Restaurant. I will definitely be back…. At a quieter time.

    Staff were wonderful, that casual yet attentive service that I like. The dining room is missing something , a bit of warmth. Food was good. Onions on fillet steak were too salty. Tirmasu was bland. Peanut butter desert was outstanding.

    Had heard that food and service was not great. Not a bit of it Food was excellent. Service was superb. Beautiful location . We were there for nearly four hours and no pressure to leave or give up our table. Cocktail bar looked inviting but didn’t get a chance to try it . Next time

    The dinner took way too long to come . Our booking was 9:30 but we didn’t get our food until nearly half 11. I know it’s steak but it still took quite long The waiter was lovely and the food tasted very nice

    The most beautifully cooked ribeye steak, seasoned to perfection. Staff were really attentive and friendly. Sides are generous in portion. Overall a great experience.

    Excellent staff, wonderful meal. Great menu choices particularly starters. Each dish expertly prepared and the greatest of care taken. The dining room is beautiful overseen by an amazing dome. They really make the best of the building.

    Service was very good and our waiter was both knowledgeable and friendly. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the surroundings and we didn’t feel rushed. It was my first time to visit and I will definitely be back.

    Food was nice, we both had steak and beef dripping chips. However, very overpriced and the waitress didn’t understand what we were saying and had to check twice if they had food in stock. Probably wouldn’t go again but a nice treat.

    Excellent dinner service that exceeded expectations. It was perfect from the moment I walked in to when I left. I had a bone marrow starter, medium rare rump for a main with peppercorn sauce, and mac and cheese as a side. Portion size and quality were exceptional. The interior was gorgeous. It's the perfect setting for occasions :)

    We went for the express menu. Basically if you eat before six there is a special menu. My husband had the baked sea bream. He loved the fish but would not order again as he spent the whole time taking bones out of his mouth, it comes with the head on. I had the steak. Quite small portion for both chips and steak and my steak was over cooked. Fish is served on its own so extra 12 euro to add some sides. Wine is expensive by the glass too. I will try again bit only if I am going for more expensive cuts and I am not on a budget

    Wonderful experience we thoroughly enjoyed. From the warm welcome at the door to the great cocktails and dinner service - every staff member we encountered was utterly delightful. We really enjoyed the food and the lovely atmosphere in this beautiful space. We look forward to coming back. We didn't have steak on this occasion but the burger, chicken, sides, starters and deserts we had were all delicious and portions generous. Option to bring our own wine for a small corkage fee was a bonus too. Thanks to all at Hawksmoor

    We had the most amazing Sunday roast. The beef was cooked to perfection and the best stuffing as a side. Very reasonable for the quality of food we had. The service from start to finish was exceptional. Given how busy it was you wouldn't have known by how calm the staff and the atmosphere were.
