   Great service! People were so lovely and warm. Food was ok. Just a bit disappointed that the octopus is off the menu. Would be great if it had a la carte menu. I just wanted the octopus for entree and main, it’s the best octopus in Perth!

   I have been taking my wife to Hearth for her birthday for the past three years. We have always enjoyed the extremely friendly, but also very professional service from all of the staff. Starting off with the staff in the lounge, where we enjoyed a relaxing drink prior to our meal, and continuing with the staff attending to our every need in the restaurant. the food was fantastic. Flavours were exquisite and the wines really enhanced the experience. To help my wife celebrate her birthday, she received a complimentary dessert which was mouthwatering. We hope to be back again for her next birthday.

   From the time we arrived we felt welcomed. This was our 2nd visit to Hearth House. We had a margarita each in the bar before dining in Hearth House. Food and beverage staff in both outlets were attentive, friendly without being intrusive and highly professional. The wait staff in the restaurant went above and beyond to make our evening memorable; we had the degustation menu, the wine pairings sublime, the food delicious. Very much looking forward to our next visit.

   My husband and I were there to celebrate our honeymoon, and the restaurant made it the best possible experience it could have been. They went out of their way to make it extra special and we really felt it. The food and the service was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended!

    Great service and fabulous food. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and it was certainly memorable. The only small downside was they forgot our wine (we had to ask for it when the main course came out). Staff were extremely friendly and the choice of food and wine was amazing. We’d definitely go again.

    Best dinner I’ve had in awhile My favourite entree was the shark bay slipper lobster for mains the wagu beef strip-lion was amazing cooked to absolute perfection, can’t forget the duck breast as well so good Our waiter Noah took the best care of us and of course Adam delivered on the cocktails Overall a good evening and a great way to return back to Perth.

    My husband and I went for an 8pm dinner booking for my birthday. Service was attentive as we were led through to our seat offering us a glorious view of the river. We were given two options of a three course meal or five course degustation. We selected the three as we liked the flexibility. Food service was prompt and everything we ordered was sensational. The highlights were the duck done two ways as well as the char grilled octopus. We received an additional complimentary dessert and also these sweet little smoked salt canisters to “bring Hearth home with you” which is very cute. The wine list was very extensive and had a variety of price points and included both local, domestic and international wines were offered. We saw other tables enjoying the degustation with paired wines and saw the sommelier taking the time to explain each wine to the diners. Highly recommend!

    We had the 5 course degustation menu fir dinner which was very nice although we paired with the very expensive wine pairing (there is two choices, we had the more expensive one). I feel this is not worth the money. Small amounts of wine and with one of the wines this was posted by the waiter with no explanation about the wine. The whole experience was very rushed, no real breaks between courses. Other couples who arrive before us where still there when we finished. Over not a great experience. The food was very nice except for the dessert which was not to my tastes but I could appreciate the great skill to prepare.

    Poorly trained staff. No one there to welcome or goodbye. Not offered coffee. Plenty of tables so why sit you next to another couple. Airport lounge vibe.

    Disappointing food for the $$$$ One dish of fish of the day was inedible and was kindly removed for the bill. The service was very good but sadly can’t make up for the food. The restaurant itself is a nice setting and ambience however the overall ‘feel’ of the area and view etc is lacking any vibe.

    Food was good, our entree was cold unfortunately, however they did bring another one. Food was exceptional, the service unfortunately wasn’t. Forgetting to place our dessert order completely… would try it again though!

    Only a set menu for dinner Some of the dishes flavour was not working together the only dishes we enjoyed where the entrees. So no value for the money I had to pay.

    Food was exceptional and this is what we came here for! Wine flight matched perfectly and while the prices are 'up there' it is worth it. Ambience was a little disappointing - very large space and service, while lovely, was with about five different people. Can't get away from it being a hotel dining room I guess.

    Whilst the food quality was very good, the portion sizes were ridiculously small. I ordered duck two ways and I received this, but only one piece of each of no more than a mouthful! This isn’t Masterchef, Perth diners expect to not go away hungry. In fairness I did express my discontent with a waiter and the chef quickly gave me additional portions, too quickly actually, as if he expected complaints. Entrees were equally tiny. Desserts started at over $30 each, by which point we decided to visit Baskins and Robbins nearby. Perhaps this concept appeals to international visitors that frequent the likes of Michel Roux Junior’s restaurants but I can’t see this restaurant lasting long with these portion sizes.

    Hearth restaurant is one of our favourites restaurants in Perth. This time we brought our friends for Christmas lunch ,it was their first experience at the restaurant/hotel. The atmosphere, service, food, and Ruinart champagne and wine were 100% perfect. We were absolutely thrilled that our friends enjoyed everything. Thank you to the chef and all stuff. We defenatly will be back!
