Great ambience, attentive waitress, very friendly and knowledgeable. As a local we like coming up here in the summer as well as many times during Ski season see you soon, pray for snow. !!

Great atmosphere particularly on deck. Food is good, but you don’t come here for that. It’s a must in Whitefish. Love it!

What a great experience at Hellroaring Saloon! I had the walnut-encrusted pork chop, and Val had the duck—both were excellent. But as good as dinner was, dessert may have stolen the show. We had the lemon posset, and it was outstanding. I even asked for the recipe, which got a good laugh. Apparently, they weren’t quite impressed enough with me to give up the secret—I’m still waiting! 😂 Our server was fantastic. Early in the evening she asked our names, and then actually used them throughout the night when talking with us. Such a simple thing, but it made the entire experience feel incredibly personal and welcoming. And then there’s the setting. We sat out on the deck, and the view is spectacular. Great food, beautiful scenery, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere made for a really memorable evening. Hellroaring is one of those places where the whole experience comes together. We’ll absolutely be back. Five stars from us—and I’m still willing to negotiate for that lemon posset recipe!

Long wait to be seated despite having a reserved table and poor service. Very understaffed. No blame towards our waitstaff (they did their best) but as expensive as this place is, they should have far better service.

This place was a great unexpected find! We are staying on the mountain and founding somewhere we could walk. Food and drinks were 10/10. The elk sliders were amazing. Highly recommend!!

The dinners during ski season are a real treat. Great food as always but different, more elevated menu in the same great atmosphere. Amazing place all around.

This restaurant is on the mountain so wear appropriate footwear. It is quaint and has a nice bar. Had the duck and dumplings which was excellent. Also this place as a unique cocktail menu. Nice place for dinner and/or lunch.
