   I am deeply sad to say this the food was delicious even the desert but I have severe food allergies. The waitress was very accommodating, but at the end of the meal the chef came out very upset and asked if the food was not good enough and if I was going to get a pizza after. The chef was very unwilling to accommodate my food allergies so I ordered what I could to get the experience. I am a huge foodie and dine all over the world and have never been confronted by a professional on my inability to eat food I am allergic to

   Food is amazing! Chef took the rules as a polite nod, threw them out, and created a delight for a super taster! Stimulates every note on the palate with each dish. Cocktails are the same. What a treat! Service is a little much. All of your party must be present to be seated. A tad over attentive (interrupt conversation). Prices are high for the atmosphere (a little casual for the cost). But hey... it's Austin.

   Service, food and cocktail were excellent. Jackson was very attentive. Not sure what strange obsession restaurants these days have with forcing diners to compete with obnoxiously loud music, but they were able to turn it down a little, which was appreciated.

    Waited over two hours for entrees Smoky inside Over the top - trying too hard type of food My Mocktail was horrible! Waiters Trying to be too high-end and fine dining Everything was WAY too under cooked! Had to send the Pork, Steak and Halibut back as they were all raw !     We did 2 chef special and 2 wine pairing.... It was tasty and a cool experience but ~$900 dollars after tip is just not realistic. Great staff, great food but prices don't make it worth the experience.

    Honestly one of the best meals I have had! I believe our servers name was Joshua? He asked if he could be in charge of the meal since there was me, vegan, and my friend wife, vegetarian. He did a phenomenal job and we will definitely be back!! Also huge shout out to soul chef kat!

    Graduation celebration with the amazing tasting menu. The young grad added the wine pairing for a Master Class experience. Hard to say a $1500 bill is a good value, but it DEFINITELY was. So many great bites and courses. No complaint about not enough food to be filled up. Minor downside: wine list is pricey, but impressive. Thanks to all the staff for the wonderful and friendly team service.

    Took my wife to Hestia to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairings. It's on the expensive side but I enjoyed the pacing of the 12-course dinner and would pay the ticket to do it again in a heartbeat. I've done wine pairings before but never something as expensive - this, I would not do again because I felt it was not worth the price. My favorite dish was the scallop with beef tallow - I can see myself visiting again just to eat that. Downside of the visit was biting into the Kampachi crudo and finding a sizeable piece of plastic in my mouth. They did apologize but I felt that as such an expensive menu that there should be better quality control in the kitchen. Overall, lovely experience that I would recommend.

    The food and service was amazing and perfectly paced. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive and the food was superb. We highly recommend the Kakigōri to finish your meal it is both a statement piece and a most delicious dish! Highly recommend Hestia!

    The inside dining area is very lovely and has an intimate feel. Love the live fire and open kitchen so we could watch the chefs do their thing. The food was phenomenal! We had halibut that was the best I have ever had, pork chop that was amazing, and bavette steak that had been dry aged and melted in your mouth. I would get all 3 again! The roasted carrot appetizer was my favorite.

    Every dish is delicious, ever single one. Great quality and creative food. The service overall was very poor, not how I remembered it before. It’s as if they didn’t want you dining there, tons of attitude and not welcoming. Sam “the wine guy” however was fantastic.

    We were mostly very pleased with our dining experience. Beets and Carrots small plates were awesome. We ordered the chicken and pork entrees. Chicken was excellent. However the pork was served to us raw in the middle. When we objected to this our server said that’s how they prepare it and that it’s perfectly safe to eat pork raw since they source their meat from quality sources. I explained to them my concern and they asked how I wanted it. I said pink in the middle and it was returned to me that way. It isn’t safe to eat raw pork so I don’t understand their perspective. However, they did make it right and I give them credit for returning it to us as I requested. Cocktail drinks were superb as was our service.

The kakigori at Hestia is made with fresh fruit and flavored syrups, and it is the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. Overall, Hestia is a wonderful restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.     Flawless. We have been to three star Michelin’s that have nothing on this extraordinary place. The staff is so warm and welcoming-to a person,and they guide you through the lovely menu.     Such an outstanding restaurant. The service is over-the-top good. We had the tasting menu, and I highly recommend it. Worth every darn penny! My only pause is it is so loud. It’s hard to talk at all. Even just to comment on how good everything is. Definitely a place you will remember!

    Some of the dishes were very very good. Some others were just ok and I feel for the price of the tasting menu everything should have been excellent. It was also a bit loud in the restaurant. I think the restaurant could benefit from some more sound absorbing acoustic panels and lowering the volume is the music just a bit

    Extremely overpriced!!! It was a special occasion, so I knew what I was getting myself into and how much I was going to spend. But to be honest, I paid at this place not that much less than I paid at 2 Michelin star restaurant in San Francisco. And believe me, what a disappointment. The portion of the food were actually pretty nice and accurately balanced for how many courses there was. But waiting for the small starters for 20 minutes with 3 sips of wine that was paired with them was ridiculous. At first I thought that they pouring the wine to just taste it if it’s good, then when the same amount of wine went to the second guests glass I thought, okay that’s something just for beginning to sip while we wait for the first course… but no, that was it, the whole pairing for the whole 5 part starter. 3 sips for 5 different bites served 10 minutes before the course. In terms of taste of the starters out of the 5 only one was kinda boring, still good, but nothing exciting. As the night progressed, they started to pick up the piece, so it went more smoothly, although if we will not have the menu we wouldn’t found out that they messed up the wine pairing with the dishes. And only because they skipped a type of wine that we really like in general and we’re eager to taste it. Out of 14 different dishes/bites only 2 were a little disappointing, the rest was great, but considering the price, especially the price of wine pairing I cannot give more stars. The ambiance of the place is amazing. The serving of a mushroom screwers in a way that you’re finishing the dish by yourself on a mini cast iron charcoal grill is amazing and fun, haven’t seen that before. But was it worth the price? Definitely not coming back there. Was expecting more. Especially that they are a “Sister” restaurant to “Emmer & Rye” which is way better and accurately priced.

    First, I will say we orders a bit of everything with only one dish not quite making excellent. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. I have two issues: my jacket still reeks of the overwhelming wood smoke that slams you in the face upon arrival and the device/overall atmosphere is pretentious. One of my colleagues classified our waiter as “Aricka” and serving all the mains by full staff felt a little too “be impressed, MFs” to us. Excellent wine list and sommelier. If you can stomach the pretentious atmosphere (ie, ignore it) it’s worth the hefty prices. Favorite dish was the seared scallops. I would go again but only in washable clothing.
