   Had booked table inside but very noisy table of 6 children whose parents were sitting outside led to us moving to outside too. Such a pity when parents cannot adequately supervise their children. The restaurant should not let children sit separate from the adults who are in charge. However that aside our food was delicious and service great. Pity they close so early, 7pm most nights

   Last minute booking with top class service. We ordered sharing plate of bread & hummus and followed with chicken & lamb burgers - great menu selection and wine by the glass. Highly recommend.

   The food was good. We had a nice time, although we were a little disappointed. I had made the reservation for my mothers 75th birthday and our wedding anniversary, and stated that in the reservation. We were told when we arrived that other people were seated in the original table marked for us, so the waitress then seated at another table. We ordered our drinks and then a member of staff asked if we could move table to the other side of the restaurant because they had a reservation for the table we were in. I explained that we also had a reservation, and then I politely declined to move, to the busier, louder side of the restaurant. I did not want to upend my elderly mother. It shouldn’t have, but it put a dampener on the celebration. We didnt stay for desert as the table was needed by the other reservation.

    Good service, pleasant staff, good Menu choices. Food was hot and my steak was cooked to order. Upper floor might be challenging for older clients! Otherwise a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

    Having booked for 5 and arrived with an unexpected additional 2 persons who couldn’t manage the stairs - the lady on duty at Honestly could not have been more helpful, kind and understanding of the situation. Absolutely outstanding customer service. Food was delicious as always and the price was good. Perfect experience. This restaurant is such a wonderful addition to Strandhill.

    Lamb cutlets: the definition of medium cooked of the chef is a bit off - it was undercooked. But the presentation and the vegetables were first class.

    The decor is fantastic, and the service great on arrival by an older member of staff. Unfortunately it was probably nearing closing time and staff were egging for home which kinda rushed our meal , even to the point of coffee machine shut down. Food tasty though, will be back for a better experience.

    Food and service was excellent. Only negative is when I booked online I added to the comments to request a ground floor table as my mother has limited mobility. I also phoned the restaurant to confirm this had come through on the online booked which she confirmed. When we arrived, the staff seemed unaware of this so our options were a 5 seat table upstairs or a 4 seat table downstairs. We of course had to take the 4 seater which was quite squashed. Apart from that everything else was very very good.

    For most of us it was a first time experience. We wanted to celebrate my friends birthday somewhere different. The waiting staff were polite, interactive and informative when answering questions regarding food and beverage queries. The starters we had were amazing, followed by an array of main dishes. The lamb cutlets were an absolute hit alongside the gratin potatoes. Those with the burgers were stuffed easily. Huge portions and the prices were suitable. Good food good experience and great night.     The food was excellent. Beautiful place. Was seated beside fire but draft from main entrance door. Was shown to seats but had ask waitress cleaning other table for menu. Food high standard beautiful. Felt shortage of staff on a busy evening. Waitress who served us was very friendly very helpful. No one checked in was all ok or were we finished etc. All that said highly recommend and will be back. The fish chicken burger excellent.
