   Booked for two friends and myself We had a lot of catching up to do and Honestly was the ideal place to do it Beautiful wholesome food with great taste and presentation Good value for money Great atmosphere The staff were excellent so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu Will definitely visit again

   We had a great experience for our breakfast. Food was excellent ,served by very cheerful and friendly staff which was refreshing to experience. Will definitely recommend and will be back to try their dinners.

   The decor is fantastic, and the service great on arrival by an older member of staff. Unfortunately it was probably nearing closing time and staff were egging for home which kinda rushed our meal , even to the point of coffee machine shut down. Food tasty though, will be back for a better experience.

   Had the lamb burger for the first time .. it was delicious ! Chips as always, the main event 👌 Staff so friendly and a lovely buzz about the place

    Food and service was excellent. Only negative is when I booked online I added to the comments to request a ground floor table as my mother has limited mobility. I also phoned the restaurant to confirm this had come through on the online booked which she confirmed. When we arrived, the staff seemed unaware of this so our options were a 5 seat table upstairs or a 4 seat table downstairs. We of course had to take the 4 seater which was quite squashed. Apart from that everything else was very very good.

    Lovely food - I had pancakes with yogurt and berries and they were yum! Service was great and it's such a lovely place to dine in - not too noisy and tables not too close together. Looking forward to visiting again!

    For most of us it was a first time experience. We wanted to celebrate my friends birthday somewhere different. The waiting staff were polite, interactive and informative when answering questions regarding food and beverage queries. The starters we had were amazing, followed by an array of main dishes. The lamb cutlets were an absolute hit alongside the gratin potatoes. Those with the burgers were stuffed easily. Huge portions and the prices were suitable. Good food good experience and great night. Thank you we will be back :-)

    The food was excellent. Beautiful place. Was seated beside fire but draft from main entrance door. Was shown to seats but had ask waitress cleaning other table for menu. Food high standard beautiful. Felt shortage of staff on a busy evening. Waitress who served us was very friendly very helpful. No one checked in was all ok or were we finished etc. All that said highly recommend and will be back. The fish chicken burger excellent.

    Would return and only two minor issues...we were not told about " specials " on menu and only heard about them from manager telling adj table. Also my partner went to purchase items in the shop downstairs and we had to wait nearly 10mins before someone came to operate till. In general a good experience, food excellent

    My burger was a bit sad, very soggy no coleslaw or leafs to dress the plate, while there was a big bowl of chips served they were overdone, I was disappointed but my friend had a steak which was excellent and she likes her chips crispy

    Our first evening meal in Honestly. The food was fresh, tasty and hot. The chips were to die for 👌. Service was excellent and the staff lovely. Really good value also. We will certainly be back.

    We were seated on ground floor , was waiting long for waitress to take order, No winę list provided, burgers were good , vegetables very poor ( U should’ve say it’s kale and green beans ) only lightly boiled no flavour on them at all . Chips burned ( or very old oil that they were cooked in ) after food was delivered no other service was provided . Waitresses were walking around but never came to the table to ask if we are happy with food or we want to order anything extra desert etc . We stood up and we’re waiting long time ( 10 min or longer) to pay for the food .

We have been reviewing why things went wrong this weekend and putting in place measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. It is absolutely not our normal standard of service nor the standard we aim for. We are a new business and it is taking us longer than hoped to adjust to the flow of business and to manage the quieter and the very busy days, but we will get it right. Hopefully, you will see a marked improvement if you return in the future. Very best wishes

    As a vegan, I was disappointed with the falafel burger. It was very bland and a bit dry. I would suggest adding more spices. The toppings in all the burgers were minimal. Please add some tomatoe and more onion and sauce. The service was very good and kept refilling our water without asking. One of our chips was cold but the waitress promptly exchanged it. Not enough toast given to share for the hummus sharing platter. The meat eaters enjoyed their burgers but as stated, would like more toppings as otherwise not worth the cost.

    Kids menu not alot of options. Ran out of one dish and it was only 1pm. Surely they knew that before had menu done. People beside us got cold coffees after waiting ages. Just not great at all.

    We were a party of 5 and when we arrived we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table, drinks order taken and menus handed out. Drinks arrived and our order was taken. The starters arrived in about 15 minutes. The reason for the low rating is that the service went downhill after that. Because we were chatting we didn't notice the time but after an hour there was no sign of the main courses. We told our server and she was very apologetic but we still had to wait another 30 minutes before the plates arrived. The manager did apologise to us and we were offered a discount off the bill.
