Massively overpriced. Food was nice but left hungry. Realised after I left they are a sister restaurant to 88, also overpriced ‘small plates’. Service was very good. Nice, pleasant and fairly attentive.

Our first time at Hooligan, and it was great! The beef roast was perfection, the butternut squash was mouthwatering, and the vibe was very relaxed and accommodating. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines, and made very good recommendations.

I hate Organic wine, My husband had a glass of red, not good. I took Sherry then the little tin of IPA beer, they were not good. Almost every food item was awash with Chilli oil, but the little Monk fish was pleasant. Our olives were forgotten by the waitress so she said no charge....they were on the bill plus the usual 10% service charge they add to every item! Dispite major newspaper publisity for this trendy room, not for us. We moved away for coffee & cake.

On arrival we were the only table but the place quickly filled up and the atmosphere was amazing. Service was excellent and food was incredible. Huge selection of wines by the glass as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Really great place and small sharing plates are delicious, with a good choice and specials. Service was excellent. 2 things stopped me giving 5 stars, the first, the chicken leg is not for sharing and pretty expensive for a piece of fried chicken and secondly one toilet to share with Fly South next door, so there was a constant queue. Apart from that all great and I will certainly be back, just wint have the chicken!!

Wonderful evening. And Rhona! What an asset. Only thing was a bit loud - mind you being next to a speaker and a FRiday night it's to be expected. Great set-up with the cocktail bar through a door.

Hooligan and their sister restaurant EightyEight are my ‘go to’s’ when I’m in Glasgow. Unpretentious cooking which is skilled, flavoursome, thoughtful & beautiful from the BOH team who are equally lovely if you pop in to say Hi/Thanks. FOH are always warm and smiley who keep you well looked after with an array of well priced and gawjuss wines by the glass or bottle. I’m away now for a while as a contract with a client has completed so will sadly miss these fabulous places. There are a rare and special find and long may they continue 5*****

Been here a few times and the food is amazing. 10/10 to the chefs. I particularly love the cheese and the and selection of wine is really interesting…….not your “usual” selection. I love the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable and very welcoming. I highly recommend a visit.

The food was really disappointing. Had dined here before and enjoyed it but the tasting menu which I guess is used to lure people in who wouldn’t have eaten here before was not a good advert for how nice this place can be. The chippy round was bizarre and the batter and oil was heavy and stodgy. The wine pairings were nice
