    I wanted to express my disappointment with the recent dining experience I had at Hyde Park Steak. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience fell far short of my expectations. Firstly, the steak I ordered was not cooked to the level I requested, which was disappointing given the reputation of your establishment. Additionally, the waitress we had was incredibly rude and pressured us into ordering an appetizer that we did not enjoy. Throughout the meal, we felt ignored and unwelcome due to her lack of attentiveness. I hope you take this feedback seriously as I believe in the potential of Hyde Park Steak to provide exceptional dining experiences. I hope to see improvements in the future, as I would like to give your restaurant another chance.

    We had an amazing experience at Hyde Park! The host greeted us with warmth, the wait staff was friendly and very attentive and the atmosphere was classy. Thee waiter let us create our own cocktail which was AMAZING. The food was excellent and all of the extras just made our dinner unforgettable we will be adding this restaurant to our top 5!

    Had a wonderful Anniversary dinner! Everything from the shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, surf and turf and au gratin potatoes was over the top delicious. Service was excellent! Will definitely return soon!

    My friend and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hyde Park, and it was quite the experience. We kicked things off with three servings of their exquisite White Pear, which were nothing short of fantastic. For the appetizer, we indulged in the Crispy Calamari, which truly set the stage for what we hoped would be an exceptional meal. The appetizer did not disappoint; it was a delightful start to our dining adventure. However, I must admit, there was a bit of a hiccup when it came to the main course. We eagerly awaited the arrival of our Double Cut Lamb Chops, cooked to a perfect medium. Unfortunately, the wait time exceeded 45 minutes, which left us feeling a tad frustrated. When the dish finally arrived, I couldn't help but notice that the lamb chops were not quite up to par. Only one side seemed to have been properly cooked, which was a bit of a letdown. Additionally, the 5-cheese Mac and Cheese, while anticipated with excitement, turned out to be rather bland. I could only manage a few bites before deciding it wasn't quite to my taste. Despite these hiccups, I must say, I wouldn't write off Hyde Park entirely. I believe it would be worthwhile to return for drinks and perhaps to sample their renowned steaks, which have garnered quite a reputation. After all, every dining experience is a unique adventure, and sometimes it's the company and atmosphere that truly make the evening memorable. Cheers to future visits!

    We have been to Hyde Park numerous times and we’ve always had great meals and great service. Unfortunately, last night was an exception. Initially, we were seated by the fireplace and unfortunately the chairs are not really suitable for having a meal as they have fluffy cushions and you stink right into them. We asked to move to a different table and upon moving the table was rocking back-and-forth. Thankfully they were able to fix it but there were numerous other tables available in the restaurant. We are unsure why both of those tables were chosen for us. It took us three hours to have dinner and we did not even have a dessert. The waitress forgot my husband‘s wine which he asked for twice. The food was outstanding as usual. We will be back because past experiences have been great but hopefully they fix the issues with the staff.

    Our party of 4 waited approximately 2 hours before we received our main courses. The sides came much later along with the sauces we ordered. Everything was cold. The restaurant and specifically the kitchen was in disarray. It seemed not liked the old days. Maybe COVID took its toll.

    Took over three hours for two people. I ordered champagne as a surprise for my husband and while it was at the table when we arrived, it took our waitress over 20 minutes to uncork it and pour it! Unbelievable. When I order a $175 bottle of champagne right off the bat I expect much better treatment. We go here all the time for special occasions but sadly we won’t be returning because of our experience last night. I mean three hours for a party of two to split a steak? Just kind of ruined our night.

    We had the saltiest steak ever. The meat surface was too burned and hard. The Brussels sprouts were not fully cooked. Our booth was on the heavy traffic isle, so noisy and busy. The atmosphere was far from being premium. We picked a wrong place for our special occasion.

    Seemed to be an off night for them. Was not that crowded, yet our servers struggled with attention to detail and probably could’ve moved more wine and product had been more attentive.. Calamari appetizer was amazing, tuna wonton appetizer was really good, several at our table had Seabass which they said was delightful, a few of us at the Wagyu steak and it was not good. A few of us ordered the exact same steak done exactly the same way came out vastly different in size and Doneness. Wine decanter was really dirty and took the junior server 15 minutes to clean. Just overall not what you’d expect from a high-end place like this when you’re spending so much money.

    Birthday celebration. 5 Filets ordered, they were good, not great. High expectations at that price, didn’t get that value. Service was exceptional, steaks were not. Hibiscus Cosmo was awesome. Birthday dessert was delicious.

    Our waitress was amazing. We had reservation for 8:45 and were told to wait on the bar. I went back to the hostess stand after 45 minutes abd it turned out that our table was given away - very odd. The steak was under done. After we sent it back it came over done.

    Slow service to start. First Manhattan drink they forgot the vermouth. Mentioned to wait person she said or so but no corrections taken. Add on mushrooms to my steak for $6 they charged the price for a regular side dish like $14 or something.

    Food was delicious, celebrating our 45th anniversary. Service lacked what we are auto at Hyde Park. Server should not have allowed us to order dessert when she knew manager was bringing complimentary anniversary dessert.

    The valet people were not courteous. My 1st experience at Livonia was much better. I took my daughter to the Birmingham location because it was closer. I may try Birmingham again.

    Service was very poor. Extremely slow, and our waiter seemed pretty inexperienced. Waited 30 minutes for an old fashioned, and when it finally came it tasted as if the bartender had never made one before. My wife’s cocktail was awful also. Food was average at best. Disappointed in our first experience at Hyde Park and definitely will not be back.
