Our name comes from the Gaelic word for fish. It’s a wee bit tricky to pronounce, but it’s no bother if guests don’t get it quite right. With delicious fresh produce served by our very own Head Chef, Sean Currie, you'll feel the energy in the way we go about things – our warm welcome, enthusiasm for what we do, and, of course, a splash of Glaswegian banter.

The food was delicious. The service attentive but busy, it felt like there were not enough people working. It took a long time for drinks to arrive, so food was served twice before drinks, which was a shame. Tables were also a bit wobbly.

Great food and service. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. We went for my wife’s birthday and received two complimentary glasses of Prosecco which was very kind. I highly recommend the restaurant and will be back.

I love this Place it’s absolutely beautiful and has one of my fav meals the monkfish dish is too die for not often I clear my plate but do with this dinner every time love it can’t wait to go back 😍❤️

Fabulous food (Michelin standard) and service friendly and efficient. Nice ambiance in the dining area. Wine list good value. One note of disappointment - standard cocktails over iced and therefore too watery. Will defo go again, but perhaps give the cocktails a miss.

Good food, but the service/kitchen was far too long to serve. Waiters were very kind. Prices are quite expensive for the products served. With few changes and improvements, including on the prices, it can be a good restaurant for a very special occasion.

Our waitress was lovely, wish I had taken her name. Hostess also really lovely. We were sitting in the back corner- great table- it was for my husbands birthday. Delicious food too. Can not fault a thing x

Nicely decorated restaurant although a little sparse and canteen like at the far end of the restaurant - booth seats are best if you can get one. Beautiful looking bar. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Seafood was excellent. Wine just ok. Overall good experience, I would go back.

Simply a stunning restaurant! Very tastefully decorated with a superb menu, the food did not disappoint. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the bar had a great selection of quality wines and spirits.

Aesthetically nice place but food lacked depth and flavour. We had duck which had soft skin and monk fish, which at nearly £30 could barely feed a 5 year old. Overall a bit style over substance. The oysters were not bad. Couldn’t fault the service, pleasant well trained young attentive staff. Didn’t feel the open kitchen added value at all.

Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Very comfortable table/seating arrangements. Extensive menu with emphasis on seafood. Mains and desert brilliant full of taste and texture, looked good as well. Service very good although fell away a little towards end when place became very busy. Perhaps a little expensive but still great value considering quality of food and service.

We very recently dined at the new Shucks and Crabshakk at The Botanics. The food was much better at both of those. It’s a real shame as we wanted Isag to be good. Food was average and the venue lacked atmosphere on a Friday night. We were astonished to find out it was ‘club night’ didn’t notice ! Staff were lovely, in particular the guy who served us.

Food was excellent and had some nice twists on Scottish classics. Cocktails good, could have been more choice and wine list good. Gluten intolerance perfectly integrated into the menu. Don't feel left out. Could have been more than one suggestion available. Service was exceptional - particular thanks to Cameron who made date night even more special. Great evening, would have given 5 stars if the music hadn't been so loud, not ideal for a romantic moment. More like a bar atmosphere than restaurant

So iasg means fish in gaelic. A beautiful restaurant with a great menu. Found it really hard to choose what to eat as there so many great dishes. Service by Billie was friendly and she was knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely come back if we're in Glasgow. Had a lovely bottle of Australian pinot noir.

We had a lovely time but felt our seafood dish was on the minimal side. Be careful folks £5 for a small portion of chips. Also service charge. On the plus side the venue is beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you for the service.

Arrived on time to find a Henry the Hoover sitting in middle of restaurant but no staff. They seemed surprised to find a customer. Now understand why. IASG is below average food at Michelin-Star prices. Doomed to fail.

The service was first class, charming waiting staff and lovely friendly greeting. Food very good, chips slightly underdone apart from that lovely. My only gripe is that the restaurant was quite cold, we felt a little chilly.

Food was nice and service enthusiastic but not quite sure what atmosphere this restaurant is aiming for. There was a DJ playing which gave the place more of a bar vibe than a fine dining restaurant. Not somewhere I would rush back to unfortunately
