The zucchini in batter starter was heavy and moist - not tasty. The calamari in the fritto misto were chewy , the lemon sole soggy and tasteless. Portions were large , quality poor.

On arrival we were pleasantly greeted and shown to our table immediately. Service was excellent with just enough time between courses. Excellent selection of food to cater for group of 6 celebrating a birthday. Six different types of food served and all thoroughly enjoyed all food served at right temperature and so so delicious. Great selection of beautiful dessert s and good selection of drinks. Staff were very prompt in service and no delays with any requests. We will be back, cannot compliment enough great evening with amazing food and service ,

We had a lovely meal. My wife wad a bit disappointed with her chicken salad but you sorted it out for her. The monkfish pasta was absolutely delicious. The waiters were very pleasant and did their utmost to please us.

This has to be one of the best Italians in Dublin. The food is always delicious. The service is friendly and professional. This is a family favourite for us but also works as a place for a quick lunch with a friend.

Food was lovely but portions were too big. Luckily we decided to share a starter - courgette, really lovely but one is enough for two. I had chicken caccitori which was excellent, but once again, too big. Service was lovely and when I was shown to my table I realised it was very close to a loud speaker. I asked to be moved and was moved immediately without any fuss to a quiet end of the room.

Honestly the best meal out I've had in Dublin (Ireland even) in a long time. The food was excellent, really well made & very generous portions. The service was first class, great to be able to have a bit of banter with the waiter despite it being a very busy Saturday night; and then to top it off the bill was outrageously good value (particularly so in these exoensive times). Highly recommend!

I love this restaurant and it has been a go to for myself and friends for a number of years. It is consistently good, staff very friendly and it’s close proximity to Pearce St DART station makes it ideal for our get togethers. I also go here regularly with my family who all love it too. Portions are really big so beware!

I suppose it was inevitable that prices would go up - but that quality would go down is more disappointing. This restaurant has long been a jewel in Dublin's culinary crown along with its sister restaurant in Fenian Street. It represents the perfect blend of wonderful food: reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. But this weekend, I was alarmed to see that the menu has had a pricing makeover with eat dishes almost all well into the €30 territory and the one I chose, lamb chops was badly cooked and poorly presented. Wine prices have sky-rocketed - but the service is still great and the atmosphere very charming. I think I'll stick to Fenian Street from now on.
