   We went for brunch, I got the pancakes they were doughy and slightly tough, not warm either, partner got the eggs florentine and he enjoyed them, perfect poached eggs. Very expensive for what it is.

   Great food, good atmosphere, let down by the service. Staff from the lady greeting you at entrance to the waiters trying to get their table back when you have already attempted to get their attention to pay and leave.

   The food was amazing (besides the garlic bread which just tasted like toasted naan with some garlic butter brushed on). The portions of the pizza and pasta were definitely worth the price. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely, except we were seated next to the door leading to the outside tables and so it was a bit chilly at times. Our waiter Wally was not accommodating at all. He came off quite aggressive to us whenever we asked a question. We also asked him if the food was halal and he didn’t know what it meant. He just kept responding to us ‘what does halal mean to you?’ which was a bit strange. When serving mock tails, he also spilled a bit of the drink onto one of us. He was quite rude when we asked for the dessert menu; he said ‘are you finished your food?’ And I replied with ‘no but we would like to look since we are nearly finished’ and he kind of pushed it into my hands. Overall, our experience was fair. The food was fabulous and the overall ambience of the restaurant was good, but our waiter really ruined it.

   Staff attentive and friendly. Food quality was good but gnocchi with tiger prawns was a very small portion. For the price, portion could be larger or at least add a homemade slice of brown bread to enjoy the lovely sauce.

    Terrible experience and would not return. Took a small group of colleagues there that were visiting from the UK and looking to experience a nice night out in Dublin. Booked Isabelle’s as it was recommended by friends. Service was sub par and we waited over two hours for food. There was an issue with our order that they seemed to be aware of but failed to communicate to us. Food was mediocre and the whole experience was embarrassing. Would not return and would would not recommend.

    After we order they told us the pizza chef is out and we can only order from any other things. There menu doesn’t have many vegetarian options so we had to leave after waiting for the food about 15 minutes! Worst experience ever waste of time and trip. Usually there good I don’t know what happened.

    We really enjoyed our visit to Isabelle's. Food was very good and we had a very helpful and friendly waiter. I just have 2 quibbles - three of us ordered the Stone Bass and the portion of fish served was very small - it was only about a half the size of a normal sea bass fillet and at almost e30 for the dish - I expected a larger piece of fish. Also service was very slow at times - we had to wait at times for water, to order drinks and get the bill. Overall a really good experience and happy to return and recommend.

    I booked here to meet some of my family. We were last here in August of 22 and had a very good experience. Today was the complete reversal. Service wears poor, one of four meals was delivered 25 minutes after the first 3. After 75 minutes or so we were asked to vacate the table as there was a party of 11 awaiting. We were not informed of this prior to the sitting as we thought we had between 2 and 2.5 hours. We spoke to manager with no success. We left. We went about 50 yards and continued with some cocktails. We won’t be returning to Isabelle’s.

    Food was amazing. We had a reservation and had to wait an additional 20 min to sit down. Drinks took a while, but the food was delicious and staff very nice. Overall was a great place.

    Food as always was excellent but the service on this occasion was very hit and miss. We waited almost an hour for food to be served - so long the second bottle of wine was almost completed and we then waited a further 30 min for wine. Not sure what was going on last night as we have used the place many times and have had great experiences but last night - it felt like the place was understaffed or staffed with very inexperienced staff

    It’s my 1st time since Covid to be in Isabel’s dit hasn’t lost it charm. Food very good and the staff was very chatty and efficient. Will be back and certainly recommend it to friends

    Food was what was expected, wine selection was pretty good, but the server was the best service experience I’ve had in a while. All of them seemed to be that way so definitely go if you’re looking for a relaxing meal with great people.

    Great spot for brunch. Lovely warm decor that when paired with the great food and service makes for a memorable meal. Reception area is awkward with guest arriving and no place to stand. The greeting for guests is a little cold also with a sense of host being overwhelmed.

    Superb location for lunch or dinner. Great choice in wines by the glass (or cocktails) Nice buzz in the restaurant without being too noisy.
