    We went to celebrate a friends milestone birthday We chose isabellas as we had dined in the past Our food was excellent and service with a smile. lovely atomsphere and soft background music Regrettably we had to decline cocktail menu it being a working day today

    I hadn't realised when booking that Press Up own this restaurant. They are currently trying to build a hotel adjacent to a nature reserve in Magheramore Wicklow and that displays the kind of values that I don't wish to support in future.

    The food was excellent, most particularly the venison (amazing, yum, yum) but we found the service slow. They just seemed not to have enough staff on. The other issue, was one of our party was running late and we wanted to advise the restaurant. During the day, we tried 6 times by phone, an email and tried thru the OpenTable app. Nothing worked. There was no way to contact them but yet they were very clear that if we were late they were going to charge 20 quid per head. A little frustrating.

    Very poor service: waited ages for front of house, no one took coats etc. Slow to take order, order incorrectly filled (some items never appeared): food arrived before drinks. Food was ok but nothing special. We had a voucher which they insisted was invalid - this wasn’t handled well. And then tried to out 12.5% service charge on for a party of 5. So a meal for five (we all had one course), plus a carafe of wine and some soft drinks = best part of €200. Most disappointing

    The restaurant was freezing, out table was by the door and we were frozen we asked for hear to be turned up but it was still very cold. Service was poor.

    The manager V (how it’s pronounced, not sure how to spell) was amazing. She couldn’t do enough for us. Alain our waiter was super too. We spent the day there. Food was delish and reasonable.

    Place was absolutely freezing, the staff wouldn't make any menu substitutions at all and we were rushed at the end even though we were not made aware at the beginning we would have to leave after a certain amount of time. 3rd time here and last time I'm afraid

    Unfortunately today the food quality is not the same as our previous visit a year ago one of four meals cold , another very bare looking , pizza not available and overall the restaurant seems to be struggling with service

    Outside seating is too cold for this time of year , lack of ambiance outside, eventually after asking a few times we were given a seat inside and had a fabulous meal recommend the steak and venison cooked to perfection.

    Sitting outside. Heaters wouldn’t work properly. Only got checked on once. Food got delivered before or drinks. No water on the table.

    Exceptional service, staff were very welcoming and attentive. I have visited a number of times over the last few years and have always had an enjoyable experience but the level of service had gone up a notch this time around. Only complaint is that we were sat near the door and a large window and it was a little chilly and did not hang around for long after the meal because of this. The restaurant would benefit from placing another heater in this area as if it had of been warmer, we would have happily stayed for dessert and had another bottle of wine or some cocktails.

    Restaurant was very busy when we were there so service was slow and we had to wait about 25 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. Food was disappointing. Starter was burratta with hazelnuts, was far too creamy and sweet for a starter. Mains were ribeye and chicken. Ribeye was very fatty, Chicken was very bland. For the price of the bill the food was below par, very disappointing
