    Elle's Bar & Bistro has become a firm favourite of mine over the past few years. Our dining experience yesterday proved to me yet again why this is. The ambience, decor etc are lovely but without doubt the excellent customer service by all those attending to us made it even better. As ever, the food and its presentation were extremely good. I ordered the Superfood Salad with crayfish & I was blown away by the contents, the flavours, etc. Portion size was extremely generous & I was still ploughing through it after my friend had finished her gorgeous fish & chips. I went offbook by asking if they could prepare an Affogado for me which was prepared without any hassle etc. As a result I left a very happy customer & even happier to give another good recommendation.

    Booked for Saturday lunch with daughters (13 & 9), my sister and mum. I was a bit worried that it would be too trendy for kids but we were made to feel very welcome. Staff were lovely and food excellent. Glasses of water (with lemon) along with a jug for refills was placed on the table shortly after being seated. Waitress got kids a menu and was knowledgeable about the food. Food was fresh and very tasty. Would really recommend.

    Service was slow and some staff have poor English. Incorrect order sent from the kitchen, asked for sauce on the side. Brunch menu is mostly eggs, could do with more variety and choice.

    Beautiful outdoor area. Service was terrible. Ordered two steaks, one Medium and one Medium Well, both came well done. Would have sent it back but no one bothered to check on us. Chased every drink order from staff. We would have loved to stay for more drinks but service was like pulling teeth.

    The restaurant was quite busy but still comfortably quiet. Food was excellent with excellent service and quick turn arrytime. There was no rush moving us on after the meal too!

    Lovely bar and restaurant. Nice cocktails and would definitely go back to meet for a drink , But would give the food a miss. Waiting staff were pleasant but food was just ok.

    Service was chaotic which was very surprising as we have eaten there before and loved it. Floor staff were running round like headless chickens - waited over an hour for our food - four ppl only three meals came out fourth was ten mins after the others- hopefully it was just a bad night as this restaurant would he a place I would like to attend again

    Absolutely loved our main course but found the starter a little tasteless. It was mushroom soup which tasted more like potato soup. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu choice was very good - something for everyone.

    Fabulous experience. Tasty food, lovely presentation and the service was excellent. We went with our toddler, they offered I highchair and a painting book to entertain her. They were very kind and attentive.

    Food was average, my husband has a side of 5 chips with his €30 steak and my salmon was basic. I expected a few side portions, potato and veg as you would usually get. We won't be eating here again. The breakfast buffet was lovely though.

    Pre concert dinner for two of us. Everything was great. Food delicious, atmosphere and service were great. We had 2 mains only and 4 drinks(wine, G&T) and it was 110 with tip so a little pricey but I guess that’s Dublin for ye. Place looks great. Will be back

    My companion and I are hard of hearing and requested a quiet table and this was provided which was great as we didn’t struggle to hear each other. The staff were delightful friendly and obliging. To round our lunch off perfectly, the food was delicious. We will be back!

    We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Elle’s Bar & Bistro. Green Thai Curry was delicious! I had it with chicken but it comes with so much veggies you wouldn’t need the chicken! My husband had steak, he really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back! Thank you !

    Lovely all round. The best thing was the staff and the gorgeous decor with a good ambience. The only negative thing is they didn’t play some background music so it was quiet and other tables could overhear each other

    We ordered a bottle of wine, the server came back 15 minute later to tell us they didn’t have the bottle we wanted and we had to order another, the wine was fine but the wait was ridiculous. Waiters didn’t seem to know what tables ordered what and were asking diners if they ordered what they were carrying. We asked for a dessert menu and it never arrived. Food was fine.

    We were not impressed with the food. It came out very soon after we ordered which gave us the idea that it was pre cooked and reheated. The food was warm but not hot. We settled the bill and left disappointed

    Staff in Elles Bistro restaurant were rushing us to finish, waitress brought bill over and stood waiting at table looking at her watch like she was in a rush. Table booked at 5pm and we had the table for 2.5 hours but by 6:45 she was standing at our table waiting for us too finish very awkward.

    2nd time at Elle’s & found the food to be ok.The waiters were too attentive as we had @ least 3 servers every few mins asking if we ready to order or asking if everything was ok.We didn’t feel abandoned but maybe having one server coming after we arrived and giving time for us to sit,talk and then take orders.Food was good ,portions abit small but prices reasonable so can’t complain.

    Food was excellent and service. Disappointed that we couldn’t use the garden to have a cigarette with our coffee. The server told us we would have to stand outside on the street which we wouldn’t do. So we had a drink at another venue instead. Otherwise it was great

    Had an fabulous night in The Iveagh Garden Hotel. Food was amazing, staff were so nice. We got a glass of Prosecco on the house for my friends birthday which was a lovely touch .... will definitely be returning soon.
