Great!!! Definitely recommended!
I took my son out for his birthday… The food here is very bland, no seasoning at all. The best thing was the salad and Salmon. Our cocktails where not made probably and with very little alcohol. Noise level was a bit high. There was a language barrier with our server and manager was not polite. Other than that it was just okay. Probably won’t be back though. There are many restaurants that have much better food and cocktails around the same price.
Great food and staff
Terrible service. Took too long for our drinks and food.
Great staff and great food. The views are spectacular and the drinks are perfect. This restaurant has it all.
Thank you for the great relaxing experience and the taste of the food was delicious.
The atmosphere, service and food were all very good. Great views and a fun place to enjoy dinner. The only comment was the food came out to fast between apps and dinner.
Great view seated outside… thunderstorm tolled in and they quickly found us alternative seating inside. Food was great but my only complaint was that I wish my grouper filet was at least half the size of my wife’s generous salmon filet. Anyway, the service was good and staff friendly. I would have liked some chopsticks provided with my sushi/sashimi.
We sat outside. Our server was very attentive, did a great job. Food was top notch. Great selections.
Brunch has no breads or toasters. Foods were not labeled in many cases. Fish and sushi had no signs. Shocking that for the price no beverages are provided. Disappointing experience
Anniversary dinner. Perfect views and wonderful dinner.
Had a great day. Our server Joe was wonderful! I’m leaving this review because my last experience here was not great. It was my birthday we had reservations and it took forever to get service. Today was a totally different experience in the best of ways.
Much needed girl time!
Was awesome Agusto was an amazing host. Very professional and courteous and funny and understanding
Certainly not worth the money we paid for our meal. My crab cakes came out overdone and blackened, the island mule was heavy on the lime, low on anything else. The best thing we had was the bread before our meal.
I'm sure it's a decent place but my biggest complaint is that the money you pay is not in line at all with the value/quality you receive.
We came here for drinks after dinner. Each of us had a cocktail and shared a charcuterie board. The view of the bay was lovely, and the live music was a nice touch. However, our waiter was a bit stand-offish and it was very clear that he wanted us to leave ASAP. He was noticeably surprised when we didn't order dinner, and he kept coming back to our table to move us along. I believe he "checked in" with us no less than four times. We felt rushed and couldn't enjoy the evening. The drinks were great, but the charcuterie board was definitely underwhelming.
Food was great. Our server Dominic was amazing.
Always wonderful evening; food, atmosphere, views and service. Definitely need a reservation to avoid a long wait. They do an excellent job of honoring reservations.
It was a great experience! Our server was incredible especially considering we were a big group! Nonetheless it was a good time, good food and drinks!
Disappointing food taste, temperature and portions. Waiter smelled like cigarette smoke and cleared appetizers and bread without asking.
Was a poor experience at any price but worse due to the high costs.
Wasn't sure if they were trying to turn things around quickly. Service was too fast. As soon as the salads came out, the food came out shortly after. Wasn't able to finish appetizers and salad before dinner. Overall, I brought people their for their first time experience and they enjoyed the view and the food.
Delicious lobster rolls with chunks of lobster meat and a roll that tasted like quality bread were a treat. We chose salads as a side. Portions are generous and quality high.
After having a couple of great drinks, the hirohito and passion fruit, and a tasty tuna tataki with a magnificent veranda view of the river we were looking forward to a great evening. We ordered a sashimi plate and pan seared snapper. The sahimi diner which was chefs choice of diffrent 9 sashimi. It had 2 orders of salmon 2 tuna and 2 orders of yellow tail. Not much of a variety. It did have octopus wich I specifically asked for, but to a great deception the last two were smoked salmon(again salmon) and surimi. It took me back to when my dad and I went to catch surimi at nite! ROLF. The sashimi dinner was a complete uncreative misunderstanding. My wife had the seared Snapper and scallops,Twice!. The first time the plate had been sitting under a heating lamp way too long as explained by the waiter since the sashimi took too much time to come out. 65 mins from ordered time till serve. The waiter kept forgeting things, replenish water, cuttlery, etc. No one including the waiter never asked hows everything. The second time the scallops were great, the fish over cooked not seared the Asparagus undr cooked, not crunchy...raw..In conclusion: Great place for happy hours and appetizers...
Birthday dinner was outstanding along with the service
Very good service and view of Lightning Championship boat parade :)
We went for our anniversary and had a 7:45 reservation. Got there 30mins early and had a drink at the bar while waiting for a text out table was ready. After 8:15 went back to the hostess to ask about our reservation and they said they texted. I never got the text and verified the number. We paid the bar tab, then got seated. Wait staff was very polite but did not ask what occasion brought us. We ordered apps, and dinner. The apps were ok buy not offered any type of bread or roles, (We had to ask for them). Our dinner came and it was again.. ok. We had desert which was, you guessed it..ok. For the price I would have expected a much better experience and more favorable meal. To put a night cap on the event (at no fault of Jackson's, the valet got us the wrong car)
To wrap it up, I would say for a night out for drinks and dancing with a wonderful view, Jackson's is a perfect place. As a high end dining for that special occasion location, it's a shame because they are in a prime area to check off all the boxes..
I, literally, she’d a tear...
I’ve been here 3 times since moving to Tampa from NY 8 months ago so it’s safe to say that Jackson’s is among my top restaurants to visit. Try the lump crab cakes or the seafood linguine or the coconut shrimp - they’re all superbly prepared and not lacking in flavor. Let your tastebuds be assaulted with flavor bombs while enjoying the nightlife ambience.
Service was polite. But pretty slow and inattentive
Great place to dine before a hockey game or an event at the Amalie Arena!
We always enjoy coming here! Our server needs a shout out! He was amazing!!
Our dinner experience at Jackson was spectacular: We had the best server, Joe, he was patient, friendly and respectful. He gave us service with a kind smile. We took our time and enjoyed every minute of it. The 4th of July Fireworks nearby were the best we have seen.
Nice place, no issues. Parmesan crusted swordfish and lobster roll sushi were excellent
Our server Augusto B was terrible he hardly ever checked up on us (my boyfriend and I) while he checked up on the table next to us constantly (a larger party). When the food came and he had made a mistake and we asked if he could right the wrong by just putting the sauces on the side he gave us attitude. Throughout the dinner he neglected to check up on us still and after we were finished eating we were sitting for a good 10-20 mins before we got our check. The large party that had gotten there after us was leaving before us at this point. I have never experienced this kind of service at Jackson’s before and I will most definitely be coming back but if I am given this server I will be requesting a new one.
Must go here whenever you are in Tampa! Great everything!!!
The food was outstanding/service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Great stop on our way to a Bolts game. Menu impressive. Food great. Service wonderful. We will be back!
Incredible quality and variety of food in a lovely waterfront setting. Buffet brunch probably the nicest I've ever had. Huge variety of Asian and American cuisine.
