    Overall the food was really good but it did take a long time to come out. The server was nice and friendly but he didn’t give us side plates, napkins or utensils we had to grab it from the stand ourselves. Service was slow in general even for drinks to come out

    Great food! Waitress was very nice & helpful. I liked the outdoor patio at the entrance. The music was a chill EDM vibe, which is my type of music, therefore I loved it! Most places play the top 40/pop songs, which is repetitive, so it was nice to hear something different.

    The burgers and the boneless chicken are great.... Think that there could have been a bit more fries (waffle type) ;; Service was very good ... would like to see a couple more 4$ pints of beer just for a change...

    The wings are insanely expensive. Also with that new building that in the back, all the noise bounces off the wall now. I miss the beachy vibes that made John Max unique.

    We had a very good time at John max. The waitress was amazing and very accommodating to a toddler with big emotions. We always have great service but last night was exceptional. Food is always great as well.

    Great place to come for some food and drinks. Service was unusually slow for some reason, it's usually much better. Surprising considering the empty tables, maybe just stretched too thin? Overall a good experience though.

    Went out with some buddies to watch the final four of the march madness tournament last night! Got wings and beer and had a great time, food was good, could have been better due to their price. but the $4 pints made up for that i guess!

    Didn’t get my dinner with everyone else. They forgot to put my order in. I received it after my party had finished eating. Luckily we are there every week and I would still recommend.

    Always a great time at John Max. Love it there! Our server Lacey was awesome. The place was packed and she was busy but she handled all her tables brilliantly. Table 34 is our favorite. Definitely be back!

    I think the first thing I ever had at John Max was chicken wings. They're so good I've never tried anything else. I'll have to branch out. Maybe their other food is good too!

    Our service was great! The server was friendly, expeditious and answered all questions we had. Food was very good and all 7 meals were delivered correctly! We were very happy with our experience! The only negative note was the lighting. We did not have a light over our table. I was sitting along a window directly under some TVs. Once it was dark outside, I felt like I was sitting in the dark eating my food. My friends at the opposite end of the table did not have an issue with the lighting.
