   My partner complained on the waitress whon looks like pushing on the tips. She didn't feel comfortable in this situation. We are visiting Johnnie fox really often and this never happens before. We are not tourists and we taking friends to discover the places around Dublin and Wicklow. Didn't looks good in front of our guests and for a while we will stop to take people in your place. Plus, no music for almost all night on Saturday.

   First time at Johnnie foxes and won’t be the last, food was amazing and the pint of Guinness would be hard to beat, staff are so warm and helpful. Brilliant place to go for traditional Irish food.

   Johnnie Foxes never is a let down. I tried the Ham Hock. Wish I took a photo but I was too hungry. Amazing it was. Everyone in my group also reported delicious meals. Kids meals are delicious and really affordable (in my opinion). Can’t wait to come back again!!

   We had a brilliant night. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our waitress was charming and attentive. Good value for money considering the portions. My fish pie was delicious. We’ll be back for sure

   Such a wonderful place - great food and music and overall ambiance! I even forgot my bag at the restaurant and a staff member drove all the way to me in Rathgar to deliver my bag!

    First time visiting jonnie fox's we came up from Dublin and cannot wait to get back. Myself my mam sister and nephew came and loved it all. We picked a few starters to share as we couldn't decide on one each! The skillet of prawns were my favourite my mam and sister loved their chowder and we all loved the goats cheese. (Well my nephew had his veg soup and chips and nuggets and really enjoyed it). We even got the oysters to Try for our first time. Nor sure how I feel about them 🤣... the lamb shank.was to die for as well as the banofee pie and the guinness was 10/10... service was so quick and the girls serving us were so nice. We can't wait to get back but may book a hotel to stay in so we can stay in your brilliant pub for the evening. Thanks 😁

    Really enjoyed it. The food was top notch and the service couldn't have been better. We had two quality servers who were very warm and great for the chat. The pub itself is legendary. Will be back 👌

    This time we were disappointed with the food. It was too salty. We visit Johnnie Fox very often and only this time we had not a great experience with the food.

    Great evening in Johnny fox’s on Thursday. Our wee waitress was just lovely and service was excellent. Food was gorgeous. Lovely people. Can’t wait to go back again .

    Always a pleasure. It was a quiet weeknight. We had a very nice small family reunion with music in the background which allowed us to enjoy our conversations. The food was wonderful and so was our server. Thank you!

    It is a great venue to take visitors from overseas beautiful scenery. Food is excellent great atmosphere at the weekends staff are very friendly. Excellent Pint of Guinness.

    The service with our waiter was am. He was so friendly and could not do enough for us. The food was as always superb. And food portions were huge. Always enjoy going up to Johnny fox's. It's always very enjoyable in every sense.

Blue cheese insufficient --beetroot insufficient 2) Seafood chowder Comment --Too much potato, only one mussel and some smoked fish Mussels Comment served in very unfriendly dish. Too high for most people to enjoy Altogether a disappointing lunch particularly for an overseas guest. Service-- very good

    Food was tasty but service was abysmal. Our main course took almost an hour to come out, it seemed our server abandoned us, someone else brought our meal eventually after asking 2 people one of whom seemed to be a manager. Interaction from staff was minimal. My kids had finished their meal 30 minutes when ours came out. We had no drinks for our meal as no one asked if we needed any. No apology or explanation as to delays. Disappointing.

    Amazing food, amazing service. Musicians too loud and the people beside us were shouting to compensate. We couldn’t hear ourselves speak between the music and loud talking. Overall food was brilliant and the staff outstanding but I left with a headache 😅
