    Went there for my wife’s birthday. She loves the champagne duck. Food is consistently good and good portions for the kids. Always has a good atmosphere.

    We booked a table well in advance , 6 of us put at a table with very little room for 6 people , food was was good but the portions where poor / reduced in size since we last visited, the young staff where very good and attentive. As usual the pint was excellent!

    The fish and chips were good as well as the beef Guinness pie. The mashed potatoes were absolutely fabulous and the apple pie was fantastic. Great atmosphere and the staff were lovely.

    Fabulous food, service and venue! We had the oysters and muscles to start. Oysters were some of the biggest I’ve ever had, delish! We had the duck and fish pie for mains and the toffee cake to finish. All was fabulous. Such an amazing venue, a must go to!

    Very well oiled machine from booking through to paying - great food in between! Fantastic food actually. Only tiny quibble is no substitutions i.e. couldn't swap chips for mash even though there were both sides and same price. That makes me think its all ready in the kitchen nearly plated already... otherwise why couldn't you swop chips for mash? Tiny, tiny quibble.. suggest allowing minor substitutions is the only improvement I have to offer. Marius was outstanding as our server - he wowed us, subtle attention, nice chit chat, very smiley! We'll be back!

    I have dined at Johnny Foxes many times over the years and always had a good experience Last Sunday I was entertainingsome guests from USA Our food arrived but no cutlery. We tried unsuccessfully to bring it to-the attention of staff but they had disappeared As the food was getting cold I eventually went to another part of the premises to find cutlery We ordered some drinks which never arrived Again it was an effort to get a staff member to follow up The drinks eventually arrived Disappointed with the service on this visit

    Hi Yesterday we had an reservation for 9 pm , Got the table at 9.02 pm and waited for the waitresses for 20 minutes!! When she finally came ,she said the kitchen in closed! I checked online it’s says the kitchen closes at 9.30. Then WHY they still offer the reservation at 9?? If you cant order anything?? That was a very very bad experience!!

    Food has been excellent, close to perfection also customer service great from our waiter Marius. I've been sitting at a table for 2 at the corner way too small every person passed by touched my chair. Male toilets are simply disgraceful.

    Food was excellent. Waiting time for delivery of food was very poor. Food was delivered with 30m gaps for the main course between the diners and had to be asked for several times

    Had a really lovely time last night at Johnny Foxes. I had dinner with two friends visiting from Australia and they loved everything about the place. We had a delicious three course meal with excellent and attentive staff and will definitely be back.

    Good food, but visit spoiled by speakers playing recorded music while live music was being played. The manager said that we should have booked a different table if we didn't want to listen to both simultaneously!
