   Great bar. Staff very friendly. Wow Burger at the back is a brilliant idea. Handy for a quick bite before heading next door to Vicar Street. Would highly recommend John's Bar & Haberdashery.

   Great Burgers .It was lovely and peaceful for a meet up with friends but when the music was turned on at 6 it got a bit noisier.

   Had a booking for 1:15, turned up at 1:15 and the place was closed, knocked on the door and a rude man came out to say they wouldn't be open for 20 mins.

   food was awful and when we complained it was cold waitress had no interest so I had to go back to kitchen and chef replaced cold chips.

    Way too loud! Second time in there and it was same both times, a bit of atmosphere is grand but we were shouting at the top of our voices and still couldn’t hear each other

    Everything was fine. I went one day earlier just to make sure that my table was indeed reserved. I got there late but my friends were able to secure the place for us. Drinks were good and cheap, wow burger was amazing! The only downside was the noise from the music. I bit too loud and hard to talk to people.

    The person who I was told was the manager had no idea about booking - just told me to take a table looking at me as if I didn't understand how pubs work. Luckily there were some available. Not sure they understand the concept of reservation. Wowburger food was very tasty and hit the spot, but live music began shortly after we arrived and it was excruciatingly loud so we left as soon as we finished food.

    Work party and it was perfect - we came back after our main event again and staff were very accommodating, would highly recommend (also because its dog friendly!)

    Popped in here before attending a gig in Vicar St. This place was a pleasant surprise! Lovely atmosphere, food from wow burger was quick, cheap and tasty! Music came on which we were not expecting. We didn’t want to leave for our show in Vicar St! Staff super friendly and chatty.

    We had a table booked for 9pm. Arrived and no table reserved. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table to be ready for us. The music was incredibly loud and the crowd was rough. No covid cert checks, no masks being worn by anyone and zero social distancing. Not what I expected from a press-up venue. Terrible lack of responsibility on behalf of the management.     We arrived to the bar at our reservation time and when asked if we had made a booking, a staff member nodded and left us standing at the door and went back to working behind the bar. We were ignored until we sought out another staff member who told us that they had overbooked so if we wanted we could sit in Wowburger instead of in the bar where our table was booked. People appeared to be just entering the pub and sitting/standing where they liked. Our Covid certs were not checked. Disappointed and would not return or recommend.

    Seemed to be a little confusion over the booking but did get a table. Table service was very mixed-sometimes drinks coming very quickly and a lot of the time orders taking ages to arrive back to the table (not sure if the delay was at the bar or table service possibly, at the bar). Can eat your Wow Burger orders at the tables in the bar (those that eat were v happy with the food). Music lively but sometimes hard for the foreign staff to hear and vice versa between music, masks and language barrier - enjoyable night and great right next door to Vicar Street so can just pop in before gig starts.

    Had never been and could only go on what I saw on the website which was very misleading. Looks like this cool place and then we go, no tables left in the bar and we get sent to what one can only describe as a roudy chipper out the back with groups of teenagers for our night out. Absolutely not what we had envisaged. Very disappointed. Would not recommend for pre show food or drinks

    Lovely old style pub, we got there for 6pm and music was extremely loud , we had to shout at each other (and were in our 20s and 30s) .. thya was only downside. Otherwise great bar, would highly recommend!. Didnt have lot of our beer preferences on tap or bottle i.e. rockshore, hop house and some spirits.

    Didn't eat just had a drink. Staff were very nice but there were no covid cert checks, no masks as people wondered around, we were told to just sit anywhere so I didn't understand the booking a table request. We had a drink and decided to leave as it didn't feel like a good place to stay with the rocketing covid numbers in Dublin. A shame as it looks like a nice place to hang out for an evening

    Wow burger always a crowd pleaser. Drinks more expensive than average dublin. Nice staff and ambience. Staff were adhering well to Covid rules & plenty of hand sanitizer etc but not challenging plenty walking around without masks - appreciate they can’t babysit everyone but seemed like it was the norm as there were more than average not wearing masks while walking about. Overall would go back for a pre-drink before Vicar St - probably wouldn’t venture there otherwise

    Second time here, first time was during the day when staff where overly attentive to the point of annoying and trying to lift drinks that weren't finished, but this time I would have preferred that because sitting out the back not a single staff member to be seen for the whole time, very hard to order, had to go inside bar each time. Bad experience, we were sorry we left the previous bar which had exceptional staff, the Guinness open gate brewery, go there instead
