About this restaurant

Kellybrook is a winery set in a vineyard, garden and bush oasis 45 minutes from Melbourne. The first licensed winery in the Yarra Valley (1970), it is operated by the Kelly family.

Share platters, tastings and drinks are available for cellar door visitors. There is always a warm welcome and, in the cooler months, a crackling open fire. Our friendly team will give you an experience to remember.

An extensive range of small batch wines are made on site, including sparkling wines, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet.

The Kelly family has also been producing traditional and modern styles of cider for over 50 years. These include Kelly Brothers ciders, bottle fermented cider and apple brandy.

Wines and ciders available for tasting (seated & max 6 people unless booked prior), take away or by the bottle or glass to enjoy in the cellar door or gardens.

Picnics may be ordered from the cellar door to enjoy in the gardens. See website for details.

                                                                              It has been a long while since I have experienced such attentive service. On arrival, we were offered a full and clear explanation of the menu, background on the featured (delicious) cheeses and back story of the vineyard and wines produced. Great spacing of tables - which were full on a lovely Sunday afternoon - but we weren’t competing for space or noise. Good ambiance too. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

We came for lunch on a beautiful sunny August Sunday, they had the Truffle & Vines menu to explore, we tried the baked cheese with truffle was was just delicious. Jenny & the team are always so welcoming, it’s a favourite place of ours and why we keep coming back!
