   We visited the restaurant today and had a wonderful Sunday lunch. All the food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. The staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked it again! Fantastic place to eat.

   Outstanding food and service. Sea bass- 10/10. Visited on Hogmanay- band were great - who knew I would hear Pink Floyd in Fenwick. Atmosphere was perfect- great crowd. Very luck to have this as our local.

   No longer good honest pub grub, too refined with small portions. Food tasted amazing just not enough and not value for money. Service was slow and the chef only cooks steak medium unless you specify otherwise… screams of arrogance

   Didn't realise it was a limited Sunday set menu, and it was fine for the meat eaters. BUT the vegetarian main course option option was carrots and kale. Nicely cooked, but no bread, rice, pasta or potato accompaniment. Basically two carrots and some fancy brocoli which cost the same as a roast beef Sunday dinner. My wife mentioned this to the server / chef and the reply was "Oh. Sorry about that". Very poor.

    Great food , great service and lovely atmosphere We dined at 6pm in the bar area a little noisy But within 10 mins everything settled down wonderful evening Staff are so helpful and friendly How lucky are we to have this wonderful establishment on our doorstep!     Really enjoyable lunch. Staff were attentive but didn’t rush us. We sat on for a while ordering a few rounds of coffees after lunch. Food was delicious and a bit different from your usual pub fayre. We had an itison voucher which had decent choices and was good value for money. Kids menu is amazing value at £5 for two course AND a drink - bargain.

    Great to see this old established village pub getting a new lease of life. Lunch was excellent and the imaginative menu was thankfully a change from standard pub grub. Main courses were well presented and delicious. And staff were superb. Very welcoming, friendly and professional. Highly recommend

    Great food, really nice relaxed atmosphere. Service was excellent, just the right pace, not rushed at all. Interesting menu, something for everyone, portions perfect. Really tasty. Price very reasonable considering the quality of food. Will be booking again very soon. A rare find these days.
