The food and the service were both excellent, I just found that the food was a bit overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area.

Lovely meal with colleagues. Was located in the basements cellar which is a great spot although the acoustics are a challenge.

Excellent value early bird-and lovely quality of food for the price. Really attentive and friendly staff. Was quiet when we went in (downstairs) and a little chilly but waitress put on heat and it was cosy. Lovely pasta and pizza. Will be back

Booked the table as I had been there before. Unfortunately things have deteriorated. Very expensive (example €26 for a burger) . Portions smaller than before. Staff were disagreeing with each other and we had to remind them about the sides which arrived when meal was nearly over. Overall we found it extraordinarily expensive and poor value for money.

Our meal was fantastic I had the ribeye and the she has the burger. Calamari starter was amazing and so was the sticky toffee pudding. The staff were attentive and welcoming. One downside we order lemochello spritz x2 the drinks were 80% Prosecco and I really could not taste any Lemonchello. After spend two weeks in Sorrento I was looking forward to a nice drink. That being said I would go back again

We use the caverna everytime we come to dublin and usually its lovely, this time however was a let down. we had booked ahead for 5 people for 5:30, and after we ordered starters we waited 40 minutes for a soup and a calamari which both arrived cold/lukewarm at 6:00 Then the mains arrived at 7:00. we were them told at 7:30 if we could vacate the table for 8 because our booking lasted until 8. we ordered desserts and quickly left. Thoroughly let down by a place which is usually good quality in dublin centre.

Fabulous vegan selection! Great to have such choice, even have multiple vegan wines. Great place to go for a mixed party of vegans and non vegans. Amazing service and super friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

La Caverna is a little gem in the heart of Temple Bar. The food is delicious and the staff very welcoming. It is well worth a visit and I will be going back to sample more of their delightful food when the opportunity permits.

This was my second time visiting La Caverna and it’s easily becoming one of my favorite spots on the south side of Dublin. The service is great and the menu is expansive (along with the wine list and a full page of vegan/vegetarian options). All of the food was on point for our meal with the exception of my steak (filet mignon) which was just a very tough piece of meat to even cut. The others in my party who also had filets had no issues with their cuts so it could have just been my bad luck. As always, excellent service!! We will be back.

I really enjoyed the experience. I went for the early bird menu,the place wasn't busy but upstairs was. Directed downstairs, which is actually romantically better and all the time we felt well looked after. Well looked after and the staff I have to say we're so naturally polite.. Don't really see that a lot in Dublin..

We had a great meal from start to finish. We were sat in the cellar for our meal which was very cool, a great atmosphere and unusual dining experience. The foot was very good and fresh and was a good speed for delivery. I had made a note that it was my husbands birthday on booking and to our surprise they brought out a lovely candle in a cake a glass of prosecco, rose and sand happy birthday! A really great surprise and nice gesture! If we were local we would definitely go back! Highly recommend!

What a lovely restaurant. Me and my partner ate here our last day before leaving Dublin and it was like leaving the best until last. The food was incredible and the service we received was great as well. I would definitely recommend La Caverna to anyone who is going to Dublin.
