   The food was fine, but the service was rushed. The servers were all very friendly, but kept rushing us. Our main turned up when we were still eating our entrees. My husband quickly took one last bite of his entree and the waiter took his plate and then shoved the main in front of him. We were only there for just over an hour, but were made to feel that we needed to eat quick and get out. I wouldn't bother ordering a bottle of wine, because you will need to drink it quickly. We didn't even finish our bottle of Prosecco as they had put the bill in front of us, and by this time I was over it. This restaurant is good if you want a quick bite to eat, not if you want to sit down and enjoy your dinner.

   Smaller menu but that's not a bad thing. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, the sauces were full of flavour and delicious. It was a super busy night, as expected but we were seated and served quite quickly. Book ahead as it gets very packed, but I dont think the wait would have been too long anyway.

   Arrived at 8:15 for our booking and we are told to wait outside in a line of people who have also booked for a table. Don’t take bookings if you’re going to make the people who book wait outside in the cold for over half an hour. Never going back.

    Generally, making a booking for a table inside means that a table will be reserved for your party, inside. This was not the case at La Favola; we arrived, only to be told that there were no tables indoors and we would be seated outdoors away from the heaters, on a night where the temperature was in the single digits. We then waited 20 minutes for a table inside to become available. Staff were very friendly and trying their best, but the restaurant failed to honour reservations by setting aside tables for people with bookings, and our experience dining at La Favola was poorer for this.

    Amazing food and service. A really noisy and crowded place so probablh not the best location for a romantic dinner or if you want to have a good chat. But the food is just exceptional so well worth the visit.

    I threw a surprise birthday dinner for my friend here and it was an amazing time! The food was immaculate, the prices were okay and the customer service is literally the best. All the staff were so kind, friendly and welcoming. They were very attentive about our needs, also making jokes and quickly becoming people we could approach for any assistance. The only thing about the restaurant is that it is quite tight in space! Other than that, no complaints!

    Really nice vibe and open kitchen showing the food being prepped. The cash register was so nice (and cute) on verbally presenting the chefs current special for the day. Overall good food with good company, will definitely come again.

    The food was lovely and very satisfying however it was a very small table and got bumped fair few times. Food took around an hour but I had great company so I didn’t really notice. Other than that, staff was lovely and I had a great experience.

    Amazing as always! Great food, super lovely and friendly staff, comfortable environment, 10/10 for sure. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in town. A must for all pasta lovers.

    One of the best pasta joints in Sydney. Food is amazing. Service is exceptional as waitstaff are genuinely nice. The only comment would be the small table and packed seating setup which can be annoying.

    Went to the counter when we first got there. Tried to get the waitresses attention as she walked past, but she blatantly ignored us and kept walking. Had a booking made, however was initially asked to sit in a room of the retail store next door, as there were no tables available inside the actual restaurant. We waited and eventually got a table inside the restaurant. Food was pretty bland. We had to add salt inmost pasta dishes. Wouldn’t go back. Not a great experience.

    I made a booking in advance because I know this place can get very busy. Even though I made a booking, they gave my table away to someone else because I was 8 minutes late. Even though I replied to the text saying I was on my way? There was no call to confirm if I was coming and I was made to wait another 10 minutes for my table.

    You have to pay for table water (this is illegal!), entrees range over $20, and outdoor seating is just on the footpath on the main road. Pasta and sauce were quite good. Service was very good. Overall this is an expensive 2.5 star restaurant.

    Great energy. Very busy. Waiting for our table although we had a booking was acknowledged with a glass of prosecco on the house (we were 4). Super friendly and professional front of house. Fantastic pasta which is their speciality. My GF gnocchi was delicious. Will definitely be back soon. The foodies in the group all said it was a great experience.
