    Los costos son muy elevados no vale lo que pagas las porciones son muy muy pequeñas la comida fría el lugar está bonito lo demás no vale la pena yo no lo recomiendo la experiencia de conocer el lugar ya la tuve pero no regresaría se come mejor en los negocios que se encuentran alrededor.

    Es un restaurante que ya está sobre valuado! La Comida sigue siendo muy buena, sin embargo, algunos platillos muy costosos. Han quitado espacios para meter mesas (nos asignaron una mesa casi en la puerta de la cocina, en donde el ambiente de luz nada que ver con el espacio de la gruta) , y ya quitaron todos los elementos de muestra cultural, lo cual le aportaba gran valor al ambiente.

    El lugar es muy bonito y especial pero No es bueno hacer reserva por opentable pues al llegar al restaurante tienen la reserva pero te dan la mesa que tenga menos atractivo para otros clientes. Nos pusieron casi a la entrada, siendo dos personas y cuando el atractivo del lugar es dentro y habiamos hecho reserva con al menos una semana antes! Tuvimos que pedir que nos cambiaran y dijeron que donde queriamos era con reserva, bueno nosotros tenemos reserva con openTable tambien! finalmente aceptaron cambiarnos pues habian mesas disponibles, y estuvieron disponibles mesas alrededor mientras comimos. La comida es buena, mientras se trate de platos tradicionales y que contengan carne/pollo. El mole La Gruta es un buen plato para quienes comen pollo. No tienen buenas opciones veganas. La opcion que tienen sin carne no esta bien elaborada y no vale mucho la pena, son solo vegetales calientes en una salsa/sopa pero el sabor no es nada especial, se nota que no tienen un chef con experiencia en comida sin proteina animal porque no sabe trabajar recetas completas y obtener un buen resultado sin usar animales. Nos gusto mucho la pequeña historia del final y el detalle de la velita para poner en la gruta! no dejen de hacerlo!

    If you are visiting the pyramids, La Gruta is worth placing on your list as the history and the beauty of the restaurant are quite lovely. However the food quality was disappointing. I would suggest stopping in for some drink and the guacamole <- which was fantastic.

    Este restaurante es la definición de un lugar bonito con nula experiencia gastronómica y costosisimo, tiene un lugar bonito metido en una cueva , con mesas sumamente pequeñas, incómodas si van más de 2 comensales por mesa, coctelería que se podría decir que es más postre porque el alcohol en los “ Frozens “ es nulo, por otro lado las entradas y platos fuertes son sumamente pequeñas y en sabor nada que ofrecer , es un restaurante pensado para “ gringos “ , en mi caso fui en grupo de 4 personas colombianas y mejor gastronomía mexicana he comido en Colombia que allí, sin contar que fueron 3 entradas, cocteles y 2 platos fuertes y pagamos alrededor de los 400 dólares .

    El lugar hermoso, buena decoración , las mesas muy juntas unas de otras . Los tiempos de comida no están organizados pedí una entrada y la trajeron al mismo tiempo que el plato fuerte El mesero no estuvo atento a las necesidades de nosotros , el ritual que tienen de explicar la historia de lugar , no se nos dijo cómo en las otras mesas, tuvimos que preguntarle al mesero , incluso tuvimos que pedirle nos diera su nombre . Para que nos hiciera caso tuvimos que hablar fuerte casi gritar para que nos atendiera Estába ilusionada , no se cumplieron mis expectativas quizás es de suerte que te toque un buen mesero, por lo que no me atrevería a recomendarlo como experiencia gratificante

    The food was ok! Not the greatest value for what you pay for. Plus the drinks took a long time to get. DO NOT GET THE MANGO FRAPPE.

    One of the most amazing experiences ever! This restaurant was a bucket list place for many years & when I finally got to try it, I wasn’t let down! The food was delicious! The mole was incredible & the flan as well. Everyone there was super friendly, especially my server, Julio L. He was awesome & was very helpful with my not-so-good Spanish! I cannot stress enough that this is a must do if you’re in the Mexico City area. And there are pyramids very close by, which were cool too. (But not nearly as cool as this cave restaurant!)
