   Overall we felt that the restaurant has regressed. I have been before and the restaurant felt authentic but something has changed. I wd not go bk for the food which I wd say was average. Starters limited choices and shared a very salty Dover sole. Far too much salt in the main courses which was not good. Who puts all this salt on Dover sole. Destroyed it. This is a restaurant that used to be a gem but not anymore. Pity !!!!

   We love the restaurant and always book if we are in the city. We did however find the wines have increased in price a lot. We always buy good wine and have not found such increases in the wine shops You are still our very favourite restaurant and will continue to frequent on visits to Dublin Regards Mary and Larry Berry

   We had a delicious meal and really lovely experience here. Great choice on the menu, the food is cooked to perfection and the service was amazing - so friendly and helpful. The setting is so cosy with a great atmosphere on a Sunday at lunchtime. Looking forward to visiting again.

   Lovely ambience. Friendly and charming staff. Very good wine list. Slightly let down by the food the night we were there- serving sizes were good but it was lacking some flavour.

    I love La Maison, we hadn’t been there since before Covid and we really missed it. Went for an early bird and wow! French onion soup and coq au vin, with the most gorgeous crème brûlée. My favourite restaurant is definitely La Maison, will see you soon and thank you for making a special night for us extra special.

    Immediately made welcome by a very very pleasant Romanian waitress, who could not have been more helpful . Delicious Primitivo delivered quickly. The duck confit was fine. Coq au Vin good but could do with deeper flavour, maybe more garlic and herbs. A most pleasant place to while away an afternoon

    We had a lovely experience, the food from appetizers to desserts were all good. We all tried different foods and there was no complaints at all. The house Chardonnay was terrific and very reasonably priced. The service was really good. For sure we would love to have a return visit while back in Dublin.

    Booked the table for Valentine's. The ambient is nice and cozy with French chansones playing in the background giving you the full on French restaurant vibe. The menu was simple, short with very nice selection of food. The wine list has a lot to offer and we chose red French wine. The food was amazing, we had tuna carpaccio and French onion soup for starters, and sirloin steak for a main course with surf & turf adition of prawns. The desert was very nice, blackberry cheescake and salted caramel tart. Nice selection of cocktails as well. Overall, nice place for a date dinner.

    Very cute restaurant and we love French food however our meals were not at all French. My carpaccio was drenched in soy sauce and the flavors were terrible. Our charcuterie plate was tasteless as well. We were so excited to eat here but we’re very disappointed.

    Have been dining in La Maison for more than 20 years & have never been disappointed in meals that we have had there. Location easy to find in area very popular with locals. Have been coming here on regular visits from N. Ireland & have recommended to many friends.
