   Always a delicious meal! Danielle our server was excellent! Only negative was there was no dessert offered. We were told it was off season and they did not have dessert! 🥺

   We have been here several times and the food is always hit or miss. We had a 7:30 reservation but they weren’t ready for us until 8:15. The service is never great but wasn’t terrible this time around. The grilled calamari appetizer tasted a little rubbery. The burrata special appetizer was very good. My friend didn’t like his chicken Marsala at all and barely ate any of it. My bronzino was fair. My husbands chicken parm was tasty. My other friend got a pasta special which she seemed to enjoy. I always think this restaurant has the potential to be better.

   Arrived to find staff hidden because the entire restaurant was filled. Over sold and while we had a reservation no table available. While waiting outside a guy on crutches comes up to us and he too had reservation but no table. He had to eat at another restaurant. We waiting and then just left. Hate to leave bad review but not returning

   Good food and service. It was a quiet night when we went and I was surprised that the restaurant still had a full menu. They did not rush us and i appreciated thta.

   We had a lovely table outside. The food was well prepared and all of us enjoyed our meals. We should have shared as there was too much for one person. They might want to consider upgrading their chairs. We exchanged some from a different table that we felt were in better condition. Another table complained of slow service but we did not feel our service was.

   Love this restaurant but the outdoor seating on a slant facing the restaurant is very uncomfortable and you can't sit back in the chair. Sadly my salmon was overcooked as well. Will give it another try however....

    Ordered stuffed porkchop which was fatty, undercooked and almost no stuffing. Rapini was dry with almost no beans. Steve and Cookies prices with pizza shop quality. Gino's across the street far better food.

    Good overall experience! Some previous reviews created some doubt, but at the end we had none. Service was attentive and food was an excellent quality. Would recommend and pay another visit as well.

    Arrived on time for our 7:30 reservation and sat outside. We got a glass of water - and for 45 minutes that was it! Server said she would bring bread - never arrived so had to get up and go find someone …45 minutes later!! After 1-1/2 hrs we finally got served our food, which was good. But the excessive wait and lack of service really put a damper on the experience. I doubt we will go back. Too many other restaurants in the area so we don’t have to settle for abysmal service at those prices. Be forewarned!!

    Gave the place a chance despite mixed reviews. Caesar salad was plain arugula with a cup of shaved cheese on the side. Pomodoro sauce tasted from out of a can. Service was poor. Will not return.

    I think the restaurant, like every other place, must be understaffed. There appeared to be only one server on a busy night. The food did not come out cooked as ordered, and it was mediocre. It was hard to find the server during the evening.

    Amazing food! It’s a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy wine, food, and company. Would highly recommend this BYOB! Not a place to go to if you’re in a rush. Staff goes above and beyond to please and works hard as a team. You can really tell the owner takes pride in the restaurant and works hard to make everyone happy. We will definitely be visiting again soon!!

    Beautiful night so we chose to sit outside. Very quiet along the road. Danielle our waitress was very attentive. Everyone was pleased with our meal selection. Would return also like it’s a BYOB.

    The server/owner? was not very pleasant. She or the establishment had specific rules which were not conducive to a satisfying dining experience. This is a BYOB establishment, however aside from opening the wine bottles no other setups were made available. When you asked for ice or lemon or even salt while dining you would have thought you asked them for the moon. Although the food was decent if you are looking for a pleasurable evening this is not the place!!

    Consistent Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. The servers try hard to please. The lock on the single bathroom door has been broken since the last time I ate here 2 months ago.

    Outdoor summertime seating loads of fun. Food was excellent- never disappointed here. BYOB. We keep coming back! My only disappointment was the small chairs on the uneven sidewalk - you couldn't lean back- made you feel like you would fall over.

    This was our first time at LaPadella. We are foodies and have been to many many restaurants in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Ventnor, etc etc. And this was one of our most favorite and delicious dining experiences. The staff was extremely friendly, the owner spoke with us a couple of times as she helped the waitstaff, I'm guessing to make sure everything ran smooth. This shows how much she cares. Now the food. It was amazing from beginning to end. One of the specials was lobster ravioli in a blush sause. It was an entree but my wife and I decided to get it as an appetizer. After eating this we knew we would be back. The blush sauce was the best we ever had and the ravioli along with the large shrimp were delicious. We both agree that it was the best pasta dish that we ever had. And we're Italian. My pork chop stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella in a marsella sauce was amazing my wife had a veal dish with shrimp and artichokes over cappellini with a white sauce which she loved. Even the coffee was delicious along with the cannoli for dessert. Absolutely going to be one of our top places. We have told our friends about this and we'll all be going back.

    The most horrible service! Waitresses came & went never checked to see where our food was. Lots of people waiting with reservations. Slowest service I’ve ever had with no apologies & no sense of how long anyone was waiting for food. I wouldn’t go back again!

    Our reservation was for 6:30. We sat down , ordered, got our salad, which was very good. Then we waited over two hours for our entrees. When it finally came it was delicious, the service was awful. No explanations were given.

    Had heard lots of wonderful things about La Padella but unfortunately our experience was not memorable! Four of us were. We were a party of 4 and were seated on time at 6:15pm and it wasn’t crowded. Our server Joanne was lovely and the one appetizer arrived in a timely fashion. After that things went down hill! After 45 minutes I received my branzino entree minus the side of pasta. And then we waited for the other three entrees! It was at least 20 minutes before the other plates came out! They explained that my entree was meant for another table but once served they weren’t going to take it away! The salmon and branzino entrees were good.. the chicken park was okay… cheese was burnt but after waiting an hour for the food we weren’t sending it back. Overall food was good but the kitchen really needed to get there act together! Waiting an hour between one appetizer and the main course isn’t acceptable!

    Food was very good. All the dishes came out hot. Originally wanted to sit inside, but inside had a strange (unpleasant) odor, so we asked to be moved outside. Service was great. Staff was attentive. Even though their website says otherwise, they accept credit cards. It is a BYOB - which is nice considering the prices are high (but customary for the shore). They also don't have sodas - so bring your mixers as well as your liquor.

    Exceeded expectations. E eruthibg came out piping hot, which is always appreciated. All high quality ingredients, well prepared. Creative beyond standard Northern Italian fare. Service was fine. BYOB always a,plus for us.

    Food was outstanding as always! Started with appetizer of mussels in red sauce, very good. Caprese salad was superb, could eat that every day. We both had veal dishes that were delicious.

    Good was delicious however we waited a half hour for an app of fried calamari and a little over 2 hours for our dinners. All pasta and chicken. Nothing complicated. The waiter apologized profusely and often which was nice. It wasn’t super crowded. Waiting that long is strange as this didn’t happen last year when we are there. Had to ask for butter and oil with bread. Sat on corner of sidewalk. Overall delicious. Really need new outside chairs. They’re worn out and uncomfortable. 200$ for 4 people. 1 app. No alcohol. We will go back.

    We had diner at La Padella 4 nights in a row during our stay in Atlantic City. It was a welcome change from the casino area. Little neighbourhood restaurant but the food is amazing. They don’t sell alcohol so make sure to bring a bottle with you if you want to drink.
