We are sorry that it took us so long to try La Padella. It was terrific! Warm, friendly service and the food was outstanding. We will be back for sure right after we dine at their sister restaurants!

The rigatoni bolognese were the best I’ve ever eaten. However I was disappointed with the overcooked fried calamari and tasteless chicken parm my husband ordered, and the sesame seeds bread was not Italian.

We live in the area and there are so many choices of restaurants. I am now kicking myself that we haven’t been there sooner. We will definitely be back. The service and hospitality was amazing and the food was prepared perfectly.

Couldn't have been more perfect. My lump crabmeat and capellini was one of the best I have had because they put plenty of the fresh tomato sauce in it, unlike other restaurants. Food was great, ambience was great and our waiter was very nice and pleasant.

This is a small space for about 40. It was not full and Emilio did a good job as the only server. For my husband's birthday, he brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle on it, which we appreciated. There is no corkage or credit card fee, which was great. Our platters were very good-Chicken Marsala and Rigatoni Bolognese. It is a charming place to go on quiet nights in off-season.

Started out with the fried calamari. It came with 3 shrimp which was just as good as the calamari. I had the ahi tuna with crabmeat special in a tomato sauce. It was "off the hook". Literally too. Very fresh. My wife had the salmon which she loved. We will definitely return soon.

The food was terrible. I had the flounder special and it tasted like microwaved frozen food. My pasta was watery. I also tried my husband’s chicken parm and it was bad. Worse chicken parm I ever had. I did not think it was quality food at all. I was very disappointed with the food. The rest of the party agreed with the food quality. I went because it had good reviews but I will not recommend it. Not worth the money.

A solid restaurant for food and BYOB. It is small and very old school with small tables and small space. Not a romantic place, yet comfortable dining with plenty of options if you like Italian style food. Service was excellent considering one server for the entire restaurant. Inside and outside (sidewalk) dining. I would return on an evening when I just want to eat good food at a good price and BYOB.

The food was fantastic! I cannot say enough about this restaurant. A MUST try if you are going near Atlantic City. The service is great, the food is always yummy no matter what dish I have tried (which is pretty much the whole menu) and the restaurant is quaint. A little hidden gem in Ventnor City, NJ.

Some of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. And I go out to a lot of BYO Italian joints, am not a bad cook myself by any means, and come from an Italian family. Come here with a good bottle of Chianti for a family affair or a romantic evening, and you will not be disappointed.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The food was excellent. The lobster ravioli special was superb. Our server was very friendly and the service was very good. The only drawback was that our outside table was a little small but it was still a good time. We will definitely return.

Small but quaint family feel restaurant. Food was delicious and service was perfect. Deducted 1 Star because 2 of our 8 meals were over cooked but flavor was still spectacular. Owner took one of them off the bill and free round of coffees without us even asking for adjustment. I would definitely go back.

Have been there many times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. We had foodie friends down for the weekend, they loved it. The seabass, short ribs and lobster ravioli were excellent. I always order the grill calamari too. The owner is lovely and wait staff welcoming. When in Ventnor make this restuarant a stop on your trip. You will not regret it!!!

We ate outside at la padella . They were very short staffed and the service wasn’t great. We asked for ice several times. We got theee apps and an entree. Everything was good except the grilled calamari was a little chewy. We won’t rush back but it’s nice to have it as an option when reservations are hard to come by.

Friendly local place. Always a smile and attentive but not overbearing service. Food is mostly very good but some dishes (salmon) were just ordinary. I would recommend the pasta, especially the bolognese. Love that this is a BYOB.

The service was terrific with our server Stacy. The food was horrible. We ordered 2 fish dishes. Mine came out as hard as a rock, obviously way over cooked. The second we asked for the sauce on the side and it was smothered all over the fish. By the time we got the replacements, a very long time, we really had no interest in eating.in addition the prices for the 2 pieces of fish were outrageously expensive.

I had the Broccoli rabe and sausage app. Sausage was so over cooked it was dry and crunchy. For dinner I had the grilled calamari. Again over cooked. the other people in my party enjoyed their meal but I was very disappointed. We have been to LaPadella before and it was great. I will definitely go back again but just want them to know some things were off.

Dinner was outstanding. I had the Lobster Ravioli Special recommended by the waitress and it exceeded my expectations. Would definitely get it again ! We both had a Caprese salad, which is always a great choice.

The staff was so rude, the prices on the menus are more expensive than what is on their website. When asked about it was told, oh yeah we need to update the website! Freezing cold cold had to ask multiple times to turn the air conditioning down/ we weren’t the only party to complain about temperature. Was charged extra for bread for party of 9! Only drinks available were coke or Diet Coke. Very expensive for poor service and fair food.
