He began developing his concept in 2013 when he was named Restaurateur of the year by Hour Magazine. We enjoyed our dinner with friends. Everyone was delicious. My husbands drink was a bit overpriced at 26.00 for a manhattan. That is a little disappointing.

Small restaurant, no booths, just tables. Our waiter AJ was not as accommodating to us as others, for instance we were not informed of the specials for the day(not on the menu) as we overheard the table next to us. My wife was disappointed, we will not be returning.

Food was absolutely incredible, but the service was underwhelming. I get that it was a busy night, but we def had a 20 minute span where nobody came by to check on us. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We sorta felt abandoned. Made for a lackluster anniversary experience.

Food was good. But took 45 mins to even get water and it wasn’t really busy. I really never seen that in my life

Another excellent evening at La Strada. Very warm & friendly greeting from their receptionist - major improvement vs the previous lady. Service and food were both terrific.

Although we had a reservation and there were 3 empty tables we preferred, the hostess would not seat us where we liked. The manager then said “we have to pay the rent.” We never sat down and left. We will never return.

My husband and I dine at La Strada practically every week. It is our favorite restaurant in Birmingham Michigan. We love the menu and their specials. Delicious and the equation of value (Quality + Price) is excellent. Ambiance is lovely as well.

It should have been amazing for the prices. Salad was boring. Sides were small. Dessert was so small - We each only got one bite of the chocolate lava cake. And it tasted like a brownie anyway.

Excellent dinner at La Strada. All dishes of a high standard and well presented. Our server Andrew was excellent. Only one small comment - it was disappointing that the only potato option available was mashed. I wanted to choose a veal dish and have some sautéed or roast potatoes with it but it was not possible. Have not experienced this previously at any good caliber Italian restaurant.

Second time here. Service is excellent. Great wine list and food is delicious. Will be back. We do not like the extra charge for paying with a credit card. Definitely made a bad impression after a great evening.

Sorry but website menu out of date with actual menu, no pizza. Responses from staff really poor, they tried to make lots of excuses but they didn’t know why the website was different and hadn’t been updated. Poor advertising, poor attention to detail and poor excuses. Management team are accountable, please improve your competence so this translates through to the team in front of the customer.

Didn’t start off great as the hostess was kind of rude. She didn’t speak and didn’t bring menus until 30 minutes of us sitting down. Drinks were fine, our waiter was nice but not very attentive. He would take an empty glass and not ask if we wanted another/different beverage. We started with the bruschetta and focaccia. The bread seemed very different than any i had eaten before (crispier?). Bruschetta was fine but they skimped on the cheese. My gnocchi was lukewarm (bordering on cold) when our food came out. My boyfriend got a side of roasted potatoes that looked like something we make in our air fryer. Our friends got pasta and chicken and thought they were just ok. It took forever to get our check even though we were sitting with cleared plates and empty glasses. Overall, just not our vibe and disappointing food for the prices.

Hostess usually is required only to seat guest and servers are required within minutes that the guest are seated to greet them as well as making sure all their requirements are met accordingly. The Classic Heirloom Tomatoed Bruschetta, the grated cheese over the top as desired. We greatly appreciate the feedback as it help us improve on our service and menu. Thank you! La Strada Family.

Everything was excellent! Started off with the focaccia which was outstanding. Then had their Caesar salad which was also excellent and finished with the pasta pomodoro and stracciatella. A home run meal.

The food is outstanding. Weekends are very noisy, and the staff too busy to be as friendly and cordial as they are during non weekends. The owner is not as visible on weekends as well. Wines by the glass are extremely limited. Nevertheless, you won’t find better Italian food anywhere.
