   Enjoyed an excellent Lunch with my son ! The food was very good and the Sangria made with Cava was delicious . This is the second time I have visited La Vida and have not been disappointed on either occasion . I feel it is going to become a favourite venue for meeting up with family and friends !

   Celebrated wife's birthday @LaVina. They were kind to reserve a quiet table. Cheerful atmosphere around, which was nice. Service impeccable. Enjoyed a delicious menu throughout, try it! Una comida que es un sueno!

   Fifty quid bottle of wine served warm, waiters aplenty but nowhere to be seen attending to customers, alleged medium rare steak served well done, honestly i could go on and on, really dissapointed with all the food....... Only positives were staff were friendly if you got chance to speak to them and the mostly empty tables were clean.

   Service was great but the food was really terrible. We dined here 12 months ago and the food quality was always excellent. The meatballs almost tasted curried, the tomato bread was bland and soggy, £7.50 for some tomato slices and a crumble of goats cheese. The restaurant is also automatically adding 12.5 percent service charge. It’s a shame as this was a great place and we won’t be returning again.

   Food was excellent and service was good. Main portions were really small, hake for £19 and probably not enough fish to make a fish finger! Service charge was put on the bill without being informed which I find to be rather cheeky.

    Everything was great but the food was terrible. Everything was borderline warm. Garlic prawns overcooked with massive slices of garlic under seasoned not much flavour. Meatballs again under seasoned and not much flavour. Tomato on bread bland not much flavour. Chorizo in cider just sweet no flavour of the chorizo. Peppers again bland and flavourless, no seasoning. The only thing which was lovely were the croquettes.

    Unfortunately our experience at la vina was not good. Cold food, poor quality food, missing orders. We ended up just leaving as we weren’t happy with the food received therefore didn’t want to wait any longer for the food they forgot to put through (we were sat waiting for 40 mins before they realized they had forgot to put it through) The staff were friendly and nice however small mistakes such as forgetting half our order and having us wait over 30 mins for a glass of wine when the restaurant was so quiet was not the best service Unfortunately will not be returning. I hope this feedback serves as things to work on for your future customers

    We love coming to La Viña on this occasion it’s was my husband’s 70th birthday. My daughter got us La vina gift voucher for£30. His granddaughter also got him a La vina gift voucher for the same amount When the bill came it was £72.51 We handed the printed voucher to the waitress and I tried to her my phone to scan the code. The waitress said she couldn’t scan the code from my phone. So instead of having £60 towards the meal we had to pay £42.51. When we got home I told my daughter who also a regular visitor to La vina. She informed us that she used a voucher by her phone on the previous Saturday. It took the enjoyment out of the occasion we are pensioners and £42.51 is a lot of money especially with the cost of living is high Can you please look into it for us please we were very disappointed Kind regards Mr & Mrs Farrell

    The food was overpriced and not very good . Portions were small and the grilled chicken for £13 was a small piece of tasteless chicken only enough for 1 person . We charged £3 extra for an additional few slices of bread which was dry and also tasteless! A service charge was added which I persaonnlly would not have paid if I had been asked . I will not be going to La Vina again and will not be recommending to friends . A very disappointing evening!

    We had just returned from Spain and to keep the theme for my wife's birthday we fancied tapas I was slightly disappointed there was no paella on the menu but, We had a great night all the staff were excellent the food was excellent, not feeling rushed while dining is the greatest expirience of all. 5 stars Muy Bein La Vina Muchos Gracias Hasta Luego !

    My wife and I visited recently both had tapas dishes, not impressed have had much better and cheaper at numerous other venues, my wife had got me gift cards for Christmas and La vina was on the card but when we came to pay the bill they told us they couldn't accept the cards, after a lot of confrontation they gave in but the manager was totally out of order the way he treated my wife in a aggressive tone,and to be honest quite ignorant.

    We came as a group of 6, none of us have tried it before but we were pleasantly surprised how lovely the food was. The portions are generous and we had ordered around 12 tapas including vegetarian. The peppers were lovely, we enjoyed the camembert to be honest we devoured the lot & I would definitely recommend

    When we arrived we were informed the restaurant was short staffed. The wait staff did their very best with the people they had. Unfortunately this meant we saw a few a problems; we didn’t receive some drinks we ordered, we were told the pork belly was no longer available and to please pick something else which we did but nobody came back to take our order. We were charged for the pork belly despite not having it or a substitution. (We realised this after we’d paid the bill and left). The meatballs we ordered didn’t come in a tomato sauce as stated on the menu, rather a gravy like sauce. The food in general was average. We didn’t complain as the staff were clearly doing their best. It’s a shame as I’ve never previously had a bad meal here and always considered it a safe bet for a nice meal. I hope La Vina can solve it’s staffing situation soon, it really would be a shame to lose them. To emphasise, it’s clear to see the staff they do have are really doing their best with the situation they’re in. Would still recommend La Vina but with a caveat to have patience, time and hope it’s back to full staff soon.

    Not atall relaxing, staff running around manically, it took 25 mins to take our order for drinks and another 15 minutes to get the drinks ( we had to ask for them). We were in the pathway to the kitchen which was awful. It seemed to be very understaffed anx this impacted the quality of our service. As usual the food was nice.

    Have dined here before so expectations were high, unfortunately not so great this time, service very slow, food was fine, desert well what can I say, bad, churros were cooked to chips consistency, after getting them replaced still not right, just cooked dough with no cinnamon sugar, at least they had the decency to remove them from the bill! There was quite a large hen party sat next to us, their service seemed to be much better than ours as we had been in the restaurant for quite some time, Treforest their arrival, their food was served at the same time as ours. Sadly we will think twice about returning.

    Food, service and setting were excellent. It was a bit cold in there and food wasn’t as hot as the last couple of visits either. Not so as it spoilt it but wouldn’t like it much colder. Wouldn’t put me off by any means but it was noticeable. Staff are excellent.

    Way overpriced! The food is okay, nothing special while the price suggests completely the opposite. 9 £ for a few anchovies .. taste is moderate, need to season it ourselves. The noise at the door is for driving people crazy, like a big field of crickets. Waitress was very friendly!
