For Pink October, Chef Baptiste Limouzin of Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris and Chef Keiichiro Hayashi of Fauchon L'Hôtel Kyoto commit to breast cancer research by co-creating a 100% pink solidarity menu: the “Pink October” menu. From Tuesday, October 1 to Thursday, October 31, 2024, the Grand Café Fauchon is offering this franco-japanese menu with a three-course lunch priced at €62 per person, and a four-course dinner priced at €70 per person. For each menu served, €8 will be donated to the Comité de Paris de la Ligue contre le cancer. A pink mocktail, priced at 18€, is also available, with 1€ donated to the association for each mocktail sold.

When you walk in it’s like you stepped back into the 80’s, the feeling is like a hotel restaurant. Cold, needs updating very bad! Ordered a martini it came a shot of gin and ice on the side. We didn’t stay for dinner.

I have been to Paris many times experiencing small neighborhood bistros to highly renowned Michelin restaurants. The ambiance at Fauchon was nice, the Manager, Alain- sophisticated and caring. The service was completely off point. Service of a lovely Chambertin wine- also off point by the Sommelier. Food was good, escargot and foie gras served with a thick crusty bread. The sea bass and guinea was nicely prepared. However the addition of popcorn to the bass was off in taste and visually unappealing, morels would have been a nice addition to the bass and eliminate the popcorn. The check came with a major discrepancy and was handled by Alain. However the staff needs a great deal of training, especially in the presentation of the dishes, attention to service, and both small and large details along with proper wine service.

Overall this was a disappointing experience. I had booked for the tea garden but was told on arrival it was closed so we sat inside. The service was extremely slow, from the inside it didn’t look overly busy but it may have been busier outside. We ordered croque monsieurs which were nice, but it would have been good to know that they came with a side salad instead of ordering a giant Caesar salad which we didn’t end up eating. For dessert we ordered the bisous cakes, which are beautiful. We ordered tea which didn’t arrive until we asked for it again, there had been a shift change and the order wasn’t placed apparently. The gentleman who looked after us from then was excellent, very attentive and apologetic.

Everything was wonderful, except for a gentleman who is on his speakerphone, blabbing loudly so loud that we had to be asked to move which the kind hostess was happy to do. The food was exceptional. The wine was OK and we enjoyed our experience.

J ai choisi le restaurant Fauchon pour un petit dejeuner amélioré, je précise que c est sur reservation. Petit dejeuner tres complet avec plusieurs formules service impeccable personnel à l ecoute. Place de stationnement handicapé à proximité du restaurant tres appréciable. Je vous recommande cet endroit mythique pour une expérience digne de ce nom.

Une cuisine très fraiche et très belle à l'oeil également (la salade tomates et homard est tellement belle et bonne). La terrasse était vraiment agréable. Un bon moment.

The menus posted online on the site are inaccurate. They do not have a set menu at dinner They do not have daily specials corresponding to what’s on open table They do not serve dinner before 7 pm Nice spot with a view of ka madeleine Menu is extremely pricey but might be good for a fancy lunch at 50 euros
