Le Montorgueil est né d'une certitude : une grande brasserie parisienne se reconnaît à mille détails — l'accueil, le zinc, la lumière du soir, l'assiette généreuse et la juste cuisson.

Nouvelle venue sur la rue Montorgueil — la maison a ouvert ses portes en juin 2026 — Le Montorgueil n'est pourtant pas un coup d'essai : c'est le fruit de quarante années d'expérience de ses fondateurs dans la restauration française. Rien n'y est laissé au hasard : produits choisis frais et de saison, sauces et cuissons faites maison, service pensé pour que chacun se sente reçu.

Le matin pour un café au comptoir, le midi pour un déjeuner de saison, le soir pour un dîner qui s'étire : on y vient comme chez soi, on y revient comme à un rendez-vous.

Lovely lunch with great cocktails and delicious food I had the beef bourginon, which was tender and very flavorful. My husband had the Irish steak, cooked to perfection and very tender as well. The street that this restaurant is lively, with many restaurants, chocolate shops, fruit stands and bakeries. Great place to enjoy a fantastic meal, and people watch.

Bonne brasserie française avec des produits de bonne qualité et une cuisine simple et efficace. Toujours très étonné par le tarif des boissons qui me paraît disproportionné. Le prix des plats est correct. Nous avons apprécié l acceuil et l ambiance général. Adresse sympa !

Lovely restaurant and atmosphere, the staff are exceptional but unfortunately the food was not warm enough. All six of our dishes were only just warm. 10/10 for the staff the food was ok just not hot enough.

Disappointing overall. Very average food. slow though friendly service. Chicken was dry and profiteroles tasteless with what tasted like stale pastry.

Best foie gras we had, but unfortunately the rest of the food was disappointing. The beef tartare was under-seasoned and lacked flavor, though that may just be the Parisian style. The salmon also tasted overly fishy and wasn’t enjoyable. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was great. A beautiful setting with a wonderful staff, but the food overall didn’t live up to the experience.
