French food is highlighted and excellent at that. Great choices for wines and a good range of prices. service was perfect ... attentive but not overbearing. highly recommend.

Le Select never disappoints, consistently excellent food, great menu options, fantastic range of wines, and a lovely atmosphere, and it's really good value for the dollar. It feels like fine dining at a mid-range price. The service was a tiny little bit slow, but that is not the fault of our server, I don't think there were enough people on shift. He was efficient, very pleasant, engaged with us without over engaging as some servers do. It's a highly recommend for me

Service at table was good, but not exceptional. The issue we had was with the receptionist when we called to warned that we might be late due to traffic. Her reply was that wn need to be out at a certain time becuase the table was already reserved after us... We were about to spend over $500 and we had a time limit ??? That was not the welcome committee we were expecting. The food itself was ok, but not worth the price anymore. We've been customers of Le Select Bistro since 1995 and arguably their best days are behind them and we're not sure that we will go back after this below average experience.

We loved the food, the ambiance and overall experience was ok. However, the server/waitress was terribly unwelcoming, rushed around & it never felt like we were truly being attended to. Felt like they were racing away, and not considering the effect of a server to the overall experience. Tone was also really curt. Aside from this, we did love everything else but expected a more refined welcome, and attention to have a solidly memorable experience. We were celebrating a special day and it would have been nice to walk away with a full appreciation of the dining experience.

We sat on the lovely outdoor patio, where it was quiet enough to easily have a conversation. Service was attentive, and all our requests were met. Food was excellent. Classic French menu.

We enjoyed a truly special meal last night at Le Select with some out of town guests. Reserved a table inside but opted to eat outside on the patio instead because it was a lovely evening. Our server (Brent) was friendly, attentive, helpful with food and drink suggestions and his timing was impeccable. We ordered traditional French mains: steak/frites, duck l'orange and the bouillabaisse. All were delicious, steaks cooked perfectly as ordered. Desserts were also a hit (lemon tart and a peach tarte tatin). We never felt rushed so were able to savour our meal, wine, conversation on a late Summer evening. Le Select never disappoints.

What an outstanding evening! We were celebrating our friends special birthday and the attention we received was excellent! From the greeting at the door to the last few bits of our dessert everything was terrific. Well done!

The steak Fritz was mediocre, the service was good but the mice family running around were a disaster.

Le Select always delivers the perfect French Bistro experience. The ambience in the back garden area was lovely, quiet, intimate and unhurried. Cocktails were excellent and the menu had something for everyone in our party. Our server Brent was charming and attentive. He definitely added a great positive vibe to our lunch date. We will definitely be back!
