   Food was good but not as good as on previous occasions. My halibut was over cooked which was a shame. Food arrived very promptly but table service not quite up to the best as they seemed short staffed.

   This place is one of the finest restaurants in Dublin, they are very carefull with all of the food and they choose the best quality in their ingredients, its very clear in the taste of the dishes. My favourit dishes are The lobster is delish, the fish is great, the burata is amazing, the bread and butter incredible, in the specialst sometimes they have duck is amazing and call one day before to your booking to get the best oysters in Dublin. Great people runing this restaurant and the waitress give you a cuting edge experience.

   Is there a 5star plus rating??? Food was amazing without being over complicated. The staff are friendly and relaxed which is actually aligned with the premises. We had a great evening. Definitely one to recommend to a friend.

   Such a wonderful dining experience. The food was incredible, and the staff added so much to the experience. We can't wait to go back. I absolutely loved the counter seating at the window. A great spot for a date night 10/10

   A last minute booking for three people. The restaurant is small and casual, but very clean and welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly and personal. She took her time explaining the specials and changes on the menu, and throughout the whole evening she kept checking if we needed anything else. We didnt catch her name but she really was exceptional. It's a small menu with an emphasis on seafood, but even my daughter who is allergic to fish was happy! The food was carefully prepared and beautifully presented, and very tasty.

    A very warm welcome on arrival. Front of house staff very friendly. The evening specials were explained and our order given. Food arrived promptly. Beautifully presented and tasted superb. Ahi poke tuna and the saffron prawns for starters and we both had the halibut for main course. The made to order apple tart tatin for dessert was amazing. Wine was also excellent. All in all, we had a super evening and will definitely be back. Will highly recommend to friends.

    Very disappointed with the meal. The waiters were very enthusiastic, but the dishes were very disappointing. I ordered a glass of white wine, and the temperature was high when it came up. By the time the main course came, it had basically lost its taste. The appetizer shrimp is very tender and very good. When it came to the main course, I was blown away. The Lobster roll I ordered may be the same size as the children's set meal, but the price is indeed 31 euros. My girlfriend ordered the large lobster tail, 450g. But looking up, the lobster should weigh only 450g with claw. However, there are no lobster claws in this one. The market price of large lobster tails reached 55 euros. Overall, the price and food quality did not match.

    Second time to Lobstar in a few weeks as I was so impressed with my initial experience. Couldn’t rate the staff higher and the food was delicious…burrata with freshly grilled sourdough and home made tarragon butter was absolutely delicious, not to mention the chocolate mousse for dessert. Small menu with dishes executed perfectly and something to suit everyone …considering it’s a seafood restaurant and I don’t even eat seafood! Nice intimate restaurant with lovely friendly clientele too…will definitely be back again soon!

    We had a delicious meal. Starters, Prawns in Saffron lovely delicate flavour Main of Halibut - perfectly cooked, broccoli just right and served with delicious fries coated in parmesan and truffle oil. Dessert - outstanding Chocolate Mousse covered in crumble. Divine.

    Lovely place to eat, great food, cosy atmosphere and great service. We were made to feel very special as it was Mother's Day and they gave us a glass of Prosecco on the house and a mothers day gift card which was an unexpected and lovely touch.

    Excellent service, Food was very good and well presented A little expensive but all meals we’re higher end products - Tuna, Lobster, Halibut etc but the set menu was good value. Wine list is small with only a few glass options but very tasty. Small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and excellent staff. Would definitely go back again.
