Ambience is great. Food tasty but small portions that would leave you hungry if just ordering a main. The problem was the false hard copy and online advertising: all you can eat mussels and frites on a Thursday night for $29. However, when placing the order for the mussels, we were told they were $39 unless we ordered a glass of wine. Nowhere in their hard-copy or online advertising was there information to warn us about this special condition. When we addressed this with the owner, his response was: there wasn't room on the flyer. He did not want to budge from his position, which pretty much put a serious dent in the pleasure of a birthday dinner. Eventually, because we persisted expressing our concern, and because we were drinking beer, he allowed us to have the mussels at $29.
Amazing atmosphere and great value for money on Thursday nights
I liked Loluk and yes I would recommend it.
Never go to a new place with anticipation of expectation; that will ruin your enjoyment of the night.
The Staff were nice, the Food was good and it was a pleasant experience.
I particularly enjoyed the Lavender Creme Brulee.
If you have never had Racelette Cheese before, be prepared! I for one, being a cheese lover, look forwarded in attending one of their cheese nights. Nice wine too, no complaints from the wife.
All waiters and waitresses are friendly and great food had been offered! Good value for money!
The food was excellent, prefect French cuisine with great ambience. Service was good, particularly given the restaurant was fully booked.
Amazing from start to finish thank you so so much :)
Everything was absolutely amazing! Atmosphere, food, staff!
We had the pink duck and the steak for our mains which were both cooked to perfection and still so soft and flavorful.
The only thing I would say was that the lavender Martini was a bit much alcohol wise even for a martini. But everything else was amazing. 10/10 would go there again
Charming sandstone cottage. French speaking waiter. Traditional French fare that was very well executed. I had steak tartare and Monkfish in a Provencale sauce . Both were delicious. We finished with a cheese platter which was small but again delicious. A lovely night!
Great food and fantastic night. Really enjoyed the mussels and the wine.
Great service and food, good value for money. We sat outside and watched the world go by. Perfect little date night!
Local, intimate French restaurant that keeps its roots and authenticity to the very core of its food and ambience. Delicious set of courses from entree to dessert!
One of the best finds among the many Sydney restaurants - a gem. Beautifully prepared and presented dishes with a real elegance and distinction of French cuisine. Can't wait to go back
We went there for our anniversary on a Saturday night. We sat in the front room . Lovely decor , staff were very friendly happy and and helpful. Food was wonderful , shared zucchini flower and vegetable share starter , chicken and beef dishes and a cheese plate . Good wine selections. Will definitely return .
Staff we’re friendly such a lovely menu of traditional French foods. The ambiance was fabulous. We’ll definitely be returning in the near future
Lovely food, great atmosphere and wonderful service
Beautiful place to celebrate intimately. The food was exceptional, as was the service. Highly recommended
We love this restaurant. Been there six times in four months. Menu is great, food is excellent and very fresh. Wine list is small but very good with some really lovely French wines. Last time we had a wonderful Chablis and terrific Pauliac. My favorite main is the beef, my wife swears by the duck. Give it a go you’ll be back.
Brilliant food, great service, fantastic people watching spot and great for conversation but only IF you can sit outside. The only downside to this fabulous places is the too loud, far from atmospheric and not so soothing music played inside the restaurant. A shame as it is a lovely setting - the music shouldn't distract from the atmosphere, food and good service
Food was ok but a really long long wait .... Prices are ok as well.
Delicious as usual! Friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere. Authentic French. I highly recommend.
Has a great time at Loluk. The food was exceptional, and the staff responsive. It was a little quiet on the night, but we had a wonderful setting in the front room.
This great neighbourhood restaurant offers excellent and very friendly service combined with a pleasant atmosphere and very good food. I would definitely recommend it.
Delicious authentic french flavours with unfussy but superbly cooked food. Friendly ambience from the exterior sandstone of terrace on Bourke St to open courtyard at the back with a cosy dining room and visible kitchen . Wish this was my local. Popular and full on a wed evening . Cheese lovers delight. Local and french wines . Bitcoin accepted. Do make a reservation .
Yum! Loved it all. Highly recommend. We went with a group of 8 for a special occasion and it was intimate with excellent service!
Loved the authentic menu, great service & ambience, would highly recommend Loluk
Food is average and not very imaginative and over priced considering quality. Better traditional French cooking can be found elsewhere
We celebrated my daughter's birthday and Bastille Day. We love French food and it has authenticity. A little slice of France in Sydney.
Beautiful food with matching wines that were sensational. Service was great and staff super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back!!!!!!
Beautiful find, food was magnificent, service was excellent, a new favorite for myself and my partner, cant wait to get back!
Had a really good time at Loluk Bistro. The food was delicious and the staff lovely. Highly recommend!
Thank you! My friends and I really enjoyed our night at Loluk, we will be back, with other friends for sure!
Great value for money, amazing diner here with a warmful ambience.
The service was impeccable - friendly, efficient and the waiters and waitresses were fun to chat with. The venue is very nicely done up and feels very homely. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
The only thing is that the portions were a bit small, but that seems to be the way these days with restaurants.
I would thoroughly recommend Loluk for any occasion!
Really enjoyed our night. Food was really nice. Wine list was interesting, but a little limited - wished they’d allow BYO with corkage.
The food is sensational, the atmosphere is pleasant - not too noisy but not too quiet - and the service is impeccable. I've been here twice and was very impressed both times. I look forward to my next visit, and I can see myself making this place one of my regular go-to restaurants.
The food and wine was delicious. We ordered the cheese soufflé and carpaccio for entrees and they were fabulous. Unfortunately I wasn't asked how I wanted my beef cooked and it came out too red/bloody for me. I had to send it back and when it returned one piece was perfect the other looked the same.
We were too full to have desserts ...but will return to try them as the menu looked very good too
The great food and friendly service took me back for an evening back to France.
Will come back.
Wonderful food and ambiance and amazing quality service by all staff. Love the outside area wven though we were caught in a thunderstorm and they moved us effortlessly. Will definately be back. Highly recommended. Married 30 years and still going on date nights!
Cute restaurant with beautiful food. Seriously lovely!
We enjoyed a fantastic raclette! Super friendly staff and amazing ambiance! :-)
