Great food, very professional and well presented, service was friendly and quick, could be a bit cheaper with the prices. Will definitely be recommending it, and will be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience in Loretta’s. Food and service were fantastic and portion sizes quite generous. Music playing in the background was new wave /post punk 80’s which I loved.

We are locals and this was our first visit. We are excited about the arrival of a good restaurant in the area and want it to do well. However, the biggest feedback from me is the pricing point and the menu, in that order. The prices are comparable to a top restaurant in the centre of Dublin, which makes it hard to choose this one over one of them. Why pay those prices in Phibsboro when you can enjoy something better for the same in town? Loretta’s has the feel of urban casual but the prices don’t match in my opinion.
The menu is probably not quite right either. Check what other pubs in the area are serving. eg. Doyle’s is probably closer to what you are than the others.
We enjoyed our evening overall and the service was great but just feel the above could make it better.
Hope that’s useful.

The food was amazing, staff were so lovely. They made a mistake with the menu but were quick to rectify it.
Portion sizes were bigger than I expected which was lovely. They even brought out a birthday cocktail for my husband which was a lovely surprise.

Overpriced for food. My starter was very small. Chicken came in batter and with scones soaked in butter which made them very soggy and unappealing. Was very disappointed considering the price of the meal which didnt include desert or coffee.

The starters were delicious & 2 of the 3 main courses were also good. The 3rd main (fish & chips) was not great - chips too chunky, tasteless & not at all crisp & there was also too much heavy batter on the fish

I love Loretta's, wish I could go more often. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable, the menu is varied and interesting and the specials are always good. The room is great as well, stylish and contemporary, a lovely addition to Phibsborough.

Excellent service in a pleasantly lit, big-windowed room. Food was good but overpriced. Minuscule starter of shards of beetroot with four asparagus spears for €10?! Signature fried chicken (superbly executed) at an eye-watering €24. Most mains in the mid-high €20s for relatively standard fare. A basic three-course meal for two with a cheaper bottle of wine in this ‘ neighbourhood’ restaurant - not a special occasion destination with a predictable neo-hipster fitout - came to €111.

The ‘locals’ menu makes much more sense, whose pricing can be gallingly read on the back of the a la carte when not available.

Loretta’s does well crafted, off-beat food with excellent service, but for this pricing there’s better value to be had in higher-end, city centre restaurants.

Fantastic food but pricey. When we were there the service was lacking unfortunately but the manager resolved the situation and came to the rescue.
We had a really nice time but they just need to tighten up the operation slightly.

Occasional visits turning into something more regular and with good reason!!
Everyone here really cares that you have a great time and leave happy -
Service is professional, friendly and nothing is a problem
Food is excellent and there’s obviously an amazing and passionate team of chefs at work
Great addition to the area and every visit we’ve had has been better than the last - that takes some doing when you’re leaving happy each time!!
The menus great but the specials are fab and cocktails very well made also
Decent wine list with plenty of different choices by the glass
Thabks again back soon !

We were disappointed overall. The food was only mediocre. The restaurant was very empty when we were there, however another couple were seated right beside us- the tables are too close together, we were more like a party of 4 rather than 2. We were overcharged for our meal and had to bring it to our server’s attention- a difference of €11. A disappointing meal , Unfortunately we won’t be back

Mix up over table - good 7 minutes standing around waiting to be seated. Very over priced - starter was good, main not so good - 28.00 for what was kfc chicken, a bit of a salad and a hot scone! Can only think the missing atmosphere was due to the lack of people because of the over pricing. One couple looked at the menu and walked out! Please lower your prices and you may get more customers, leading to a better overall experience.

Fantastic meal here yesterday evening. Very friendly and nice staff. Cured sea trout was delicious, the sour dough was amazing and went really well with the goats cheese. For mains the chicken was fantastic - would go back just for the chicken. John Dory was the fish special and was lovely. One of the best Espresso Martinis we have had anywhere! Would definitely recommend this place. Really good value too.

Really great athmosphere and loved the food. Our original waiter was great, friendly and helpful. I think he went off duty before the end of our meal and the restaurant was winding down after end of brunch. but once he was gone, we were ignored. our empty plates left on table for ages and had to call someone to clear them and order desert. We were literally the last people in the place and no one bothering with us. Only a small irritation though. I'll definitely be back

small quibble but is the local's menu only available until 6.30? Is it an early bird menu? It doesn't specify on the website and the waiter didn't offer us the choice, as a local I would certainly go more often if I knew there was a choice, we had a delicious meal in a happy atmosphere with very friendly staff and I look forward to gong again soon.

Such a lovely experience from the moment me and my partner walked through the door, we where met by a lovely smiley girl who let us choose where we would like to sit, when ordering a bottle of wine the one we wanted was out of stock so she gave us another bottle for the same price which was really appreciated, upon ordering she let us know there was red velvet cake on the menu and she’d put one aside for me, she made the experience so much more then just a meal, all the staff seemed lovely too.

We both loved the food. It was good honest cooking. Well seasoned and tasty. The staff were on point and there was no fuss from them. The open kitchen is an added bonus if you like cooking. I’m a cold creature by nature so the only point to add is it was a bit chilly at times when the door opened. Other than that, we’ll be back with some friends. Thanks again. Highly recommended.
