The chef prepared a vegetarian pasta for me (not on the menu). It was delicious with fresh vegetables. My guest ordered bisque and a salad. Both generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very nice restaurant, right across from the Intercontinental Hotel. The etoufe was sort of small but was enough for me. The Mussels was a huge serving. Sort of loud and the service was efficient but not effusive. Reservations are a must! Try Open table, if the restaurant itself says it is booked.

Shrimp and grits were excellent, as was the bread pudding. We received good service and I enjoyed the fact that there was no loud music piped in, nor an overly energetic crowd. It was just a nice place to have an excellent meal on ta Sunday morning, and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

The food was fantastic. Raw Gulf Oysters, Tuna Tartare, Scallop Crudo, Swordfish, and Mussels, all of it was perfect. Our server, Julian, was excellent. He made a killer recommendation, and we never wanted for anything the entire night between him and his partner server. Everyone we interacted with was a delight. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking great seafood and a comfortable but elevated dining experience.

We came in late Friday night with a group of 10+ people. We were seated within 10 min and weren’t rushed at all. Our waiter was cool and made our experience comfortable and pleasant. The oysters and the mussels were amazing definitely would recommend. Because of our large party size I got to try the majority of the food and WOW, for entrees I definitely recommend the squid ink pasta, the Étouffée and the sword fish. The drinks were nice and the environment was clean and well kept. I will definitely be back !

Excellent location if you are staying at the Hilton or in the area. It's a small venue so it can get pretty loud. The food is OK, BBQ oysters are very good but the Shrimp/Crayfish fritters seemed to be frozen, pre-made and not fresh. We won't get those again. We usually go for dinner but this time we went for lunch after we took the streetcar down to see the Van Gogh exhibit. We have lived in NOLA our entire lives and frequented many of the restaurants here. Unfortunately Luke does not offer a lunch menu so everything is full price and $100 for lunch with drinks was a bit much.

Most of the food is really good. However the BBQ oysters are just ok. I wouldn’t order again. Drink service was tremendously slow. They blamed a big party, but why wouldn’t the bartender make one drink first before the party of 20? Ended up Mis-timed with our meal. Service a bit aloof as well.

Luke was great. We decided to go here before a show and it was a fabulous pic. The restaurant was so beautiful, service was amazing and the food was delicious. It's also in a great location close to shows and live events.

There were 5 oyster options to choose from. The broth for the mussels and frites had a spicy kick to it, which was great. The fries were thin but not super skinny. The bread pudding was very rich, delicious with coffee. The service was attentive but it's a very busy restaurant on a Wednesday evening and it's not the most relaxing place to eat. There's nothing to absorb sound, so the noise level was high, especially once a large group was seated. The food was great.

Luke was just OK. Obviously our waitress was overwhelmed. She was lovely as can be and helped us as much as we needed, but it did take a while. Food was disappointing . My husband used to travel to NO twice a month before Covid and went to Luke's every trip. He said it wasn't what it used to be. Understandable. With the way the world is. I just couldn't recommend it as far as food is concerned. Wish them the best.

Dined here twice as we were staying in Hilton and were limited on time to explore other options in the city. The first night service was so so but last night it was so good. Oyster salad - excellent Crème burlee - excellent Bread pudding - very good. Pork Schnitzel (Not pictured). Definitely did not like the schnitzel. The sauce ruined it for me. It’s more of a vinaigrette thank a gravy and it only had one mushroom in it. The schnitzel needs a thick gravy.

The lobster and oysters we amazing! Service needs a lot of improvement. Our server had zero interaction with us, except to get our order. When you spend $200 on a dinner I expect great service. Unfortunately won’t be giving this place a second try.

I had made a note in my reservation that it was for 4 adults and a high chair. My son doesn’t usually eat out (besides French fries) so he doesn’t need a special setting. When we showed up for our reservation, the host was exceptionally rude. Apparently, the fact that I’d made the reservation for 4 and not 5 was a problem, but she couldn’t communicate this so she stood awkwardly, tapping her nails on the podium and mumbling rudely under her breath. Finally, she walked us to the back of the house, right next to the kitchen and the server water stand, where our server promptly reorganized our whole party because we were in the way. Service was not great—servers around us looked sloppy. Shirts untucked, jacket not ironed and dirty, collars unstarched. Listen, I don’t need starched collars to have a good meal—but if you’re going aspire to be that kind of institution (and charge those prices!), you need to look the part. Our server didn’t muster a smile or just basic professionalism until it was time to bring us the check—at which point, whatever she had to say felt contrived. Food was just fine. At 7, they’d already run out of steak for the steak frites. I ordered the etoufee, which was over salted but fine. Mussels were delicious, so was swordfish. Trout was a little bland, but overall good. Felt disappointed by Luke. Good food can never overshadow bad service and unfortunately, this was a case in which it was not at all challenging to do so.

Food was great, service was not. We had two servers, one was nice, one was rude. Both were not very attentive. Our table was next to bar seating and passers-by kept bumping into me. Too cramped in that area. Was impressed with food, not impressed otherwise. Add in $8 beer and prob not worth a repeat.

We’ve been to Luke many times but this time was t as great as the others I think it was because of Jazz fest weekend. Food was overall OK. Waiters were good busy extremely busy.

Burger lived up to expectations and starters were very good. Nice old New Orleans building and not overly loud for lunch. If host stand was as friendly as bus staff and waiters a little more attentive this would have been closer to 5 stars. Our server was very friendly though.
