The only complaint I have concerns the noise level, but such is to be expected in New Orleans on a Sunday night anyway. The food was delicious as the staff were wonderful. The interior very much harkens back to a better time. Would definitely go again!

Food was above average and fair for the price. Service was lacking unfortunately. It took our waiter 20 minutes to even acknowledge us at our table. The food came out fast, but we were never checked on again by our waiter.

We had a reservation at 10pm and we received a note from restaurant that the table was ready at 923pm. we quickly walked over to the restaurant and were seated. We ordered drinks and the server was quick to blame the bartender for being “new and overwhelmed” for the delay in drinks- there were 5 people at the bar. Food was good, but it’s not a repeat for us.

Last minute dinner reservation and it didn't disappoint. Got the roasted chicken and it tasted like a home cooked meal. Huge portions, got to take home as much as I ate. A drink, shared appetizer, and an entree came out to about $60 each with tip. Would recommend!

We were promptly seated at our time of reservations. It is a nice space not distracting but nothing unique about it either. Although the food was good it was uneven. While the baked oysters were a hit the etouffe of shrimp and crawfish was not impressive, the bread pudding was thick and heavy. The restaurant has a limited but nice wine selection.

It was not close to what I have come to expect from dining at Luke. The waiter was very disinterested and lacked attention. Had to get other wait staff multiple times for refills. The worst part was the appetizer did not arrive until after the food. When the waiter brought the food we asked for the appetizer, he acted surprised, he never checked to ensure we got it or walked by so I’m not sure what was so surprising to him. He then told us they were coming up “on the fly”, this ended up being 10 mins after everyone was done eating and we asked for the check. No discount, no acknowledgement or apology for the lack of urgency or attention. I was very excited to bring my friends to Luke to celebrate his birthday and the expectations were not met, I have lost faith in the establishment after this experience. Normally a manager stops by to check on every table but not this time.

The chef prepared a vegetarian pasta for me (not on the menu). It was delicious with fresh vegetables. My guest ordered bisque and a salad. Both generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very nice restaurant, right across from the Intercontinental Hotel. The etoufe was sort of small but was enough for me. The Mussels was a huge serving. Sort of loud and the service was efficient but not effusive. Reservations are a must! Try Open table, if the restaurant itself says it is booked.

Shrimp and grits were excellent, as was the bread pudding. We received good service and I enjoyed the fact that there was no loud music piped in, nor an overly energetic crowd. It was just a nice place to have an excellent meal on ta Sunday morning, and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

The food was fantastic. Raw Gulf Oysters, Tuna Tartare, Scallop Crudo, Swordfish, and Mussels, all of it was perfect. Our server, Julian, was excellent. He made a killer recommendation, and we never wanted for anything the entire night between him and his partner server. Everyone we interacted with was a delight. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking great seafood and a comfortable but elevated dining experience.

We came in late Friday night with a group of 10+ people. We were seated within 10 min and weren’t rushed at all. Our waiter was cool and made our experience comfortable and pleasant. The oysters and the mussels were amazing definitely would recommend. Because of our large party size I got to try the majority of the food and WOW, for entrees I definitely recommend the squid ink pasta, the Étouffée and the sword fish. The drinks were nice and the environment was clean and well kept. I will definitely be back !

Excellent location if you are staying at the Hilton or in the area. It's a small venue so it can get pretty loud. The food is OK, BBQ oysters are very good but the Shrimp/Crayfish fritters seemed to be frozen, pre-made and not fresh. We won't get those again. We usually go for dinner but this time we went for lunch after we took the streetcar down to see the Van Gogh exhibit. We have lived in NOLA our entire lives and frequented many of the restaurants here. Unfortunately Luke does not offer a lunch menu so everything is full price and $100 for lunch with drinks was a bit much.

Most of the food is really good. However the BBQ oysters are just ok. I wouldn’t order again. Drink service was tremendously slow. They blamed a big party, but why wouldn’t the bartender make one drink first before the party of 20? Ended up Mis-timed with our meal. Service a bit aloof as well.

Luke was great. We decided to go here before a show and it was a fabulous pic. The restaurant was so beautiful, service was amazing and the food was delicious. It's also in a great location close to shows and live events.

The oysters on the half shell were wonderful as ever as well as the fried oysters. I did not think the French 75 were as good as I have had over the years. The service was wonderful. I will return as my first stop when I hit the city.

There were 5 oyster options to choose from. The broth for the mussels and frites had a spicy kick to it, which was great. The fries were thin but not super skinny. The bread pudding was very rich, delicious with coffee. The service was attentive but it's a very busy restaurant on a Wednesday evening and it's not the most relaxing place to eat. There's nothing to absorb sound, so the noise level was high, especially once a large group was seated. The food was great.

Luke was just OK. Obviously our waitress was overwhelmed. She was lovely as can be and helped us as much as we needed, but it did take a while. Food was disappointing . My husband used to travel to NO twice a month before Covid and went to Luke's every trip. He said it wasn't what it used to be. Understandable. With the way the world is. I just couldn't recommend it as far as food is concerned. Wish them the best.
