Chef Anark, from northern Thailand, draws on generations of tradition to craft vibrant, aromatic dishes in a warm, welcoming setting just minutes from the Texas Medical Center and Rice University.

This small Thai restaurant in Rice village is clean and comfortable. I am not expert in Thai cuisine, but I have eaten at some of the best around the world, including Pok Pok in Portland years ago. The food here did not match up to that. It was ok, the prices were reasonable, and the servings were generous, but I would not place it among the best in Houston. Granted, I ordered one of the fried fish dishes and it was an enormous serving which I found to be rather dry and uninteresting. The lamb curry was much better, and we took some home for dinner that evening. I would eat here again but would avoid the fish next time.

Hidden gem in Rice Village! You wouldn’t expect much from the outside, but inside it’s so cute and inviting. The owner is wonderful, the vibe is great, and the food was honestly incredible. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor—and the prices are very fair. Loved it and will 100% be back!
