   First visit and pleasantly surprised. Food and service was excellent only drawback was the country and western music was very loud considering we were the only customers.

    The staff were so nice and chatty and we're able to answer any questions we had quickly and nothing was any bother. The food was so good we will definitely be back. The carbonara was the best I think I've ever eaten.

    Sat and ordered a drink, table 8.Ordered food, it arrived 40 to 45 minutes later, no one came to explain why it was such a wait or to offer another drink. My salad,crisps,and cold,pre toasted, chicken baguette came in a very hot plate,carried by waitress with a towel as it was so hot. Salad and crisps ruined by intense heat. Who eats hot salad?waitress had very long hair not tied(food hygiene?) Other table waiting a long time for their food too, everyone looking unhappy. The resteraunt was not busy!. This is not the first time this has happened, we gave it the benefit of doubt..never again. Will advise friends to avoid now.

    My first visit to Maggie's. Faultless. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food was very tasty, plentiful and well presented. The restaurant was busy but service was good. Plenty of lovely well trained staff. Nice mix of age groups created a nice buzz.

    I tried maggies for the first time and I was back with a friend 2 days later. the food was delicious and great value for money which us big deal just now. The staff were really friendly and polite and they seemed friends with each other which helps to create a good atmosphere. I will definately be back again. 10/10

    We had a nice welcome as we came in. The waitress was very friendly and told us the specials straight away. The atmosphere was nice, good music. The food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

    Service was so slow, didn’t get drinks until the starters arrived. Staff are nice enough and pleasant. It’s just really slow. Food was delicious.

    Great food and excellent service. Only slight thing I would say if I was picky is that it was very warm in the restaurant. Everything else was great and great value. Steak was cooked to perfection.

    Had to wait nearly an hour for food. Not busy either. No offer of remuneration. Told problem due to no card machine and deliveries. If you can't accommodate in house customers first then don't deliver outwith. Very disappointed as been before and was excellent all round. Very friendly staff.

    I was most disappointed with the food,I have been several times before and the food was excellent but yesterday I chose an omelette which was overcooked and looked thrown together and was not paticulary hot,my friend also commented her food was not very hot.

    Food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately food was really slow to be served, waited 45 mins for a starter, a few mistakes were made with the order which meant 2 dishes had to be returned and remade. Although they were returned no problem the general customer service offered was poor. We were celebrating a birthday. We had brought a cake beforehand but staff forgot, served us the bill after our mains without offering us a dessert, we paid for the bill and noticed staff finishing up so had to remind them about the cake which was then very quickly given to us and just put back in box quickly. It was clear staff wanted us home. It was our first time visiting and sadly it would put me off returning or recommending which is a shame as food tastes amazing.

    Another fantastic meal at Maggies! Was out with my mum, and I picked Maggies as she’s never been. I had the Cajun chicken crepes and my mum had the Katsu chicken curry, both dishes were absolutely delicious. Didn’t have a long wait for the meals either, staff were attentive but not intrusive and they were all so friendly. For dessert i had the apple crumble and custard and my mum went for the Belgian waffles with Nutella and banana, both were absolutely outstanding. Cannot wait to come back again!

    nice decor, staff very busy, slow service. food was presented well, very small fish (paid full price) for what they’re charging. too much garnish on everyone’s plates, needs cut back. overall nice enough if you want to try somewhere different. but wouldn’t be my choice next time i eat out.
