We dont normally like PressUp group venues BUT this absolutely exceeded expectations. The beef and black bean is out of this world ❤️ staff were brilliant and we ordered the 40euro rose on the list it worked perfectly

This was my 3rd visit to Mama Yo this year, and it is without doubt the best Chinese Restaurant around. From the welcome staff, to the servers, to the chefs, outstanding calibre of staff, the decor and ambiance is beautiful, highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, cant wait till my next visit

I really like Mama Yo! The food is incredible, portion sizes are good, the food is always fresh, and delicious, from familiar Chinese dishes to fabulous dumplings - the Snow Mountain buns are my favourite. The signature cocktails are also a must have! The staff in the restaurant are so friendly, the waiting staff is very attentive and efficient! I always feel very well looked after when I dine there! The restaurant itself looks small and unassuming from the outside but it’s bigger than it looks and is absolutely fabulous inside, with soft furnishing, low soft lighting, and the trees near the back of the restaurant give it a real wow factor! Also the bathrooms are fabulous and they have free female sanitary products available in the women’s, which I think is a really nice touch! I would highly recommend Mama Yo for a catch up with friends or a special occasion! 12/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dined here on a Thursday night and the place was full. The venue itself is spectacular. It was our second time here and it was even better than the first. We ordered the yuk sung to start and then the Singapore noodles and tempura crab fried rice, and everything was absolutely delicious! Our waiter Salem was excellent, friendly, and very attentive and provided impeccable service! Will definitely be back.

Waited 30 minutes just to order drinks. Once order was taken, we've looking at each other for further 20 minutes. Starters mains and soups were all served together to a point where there was no room left on the table, pretty wild. The mains are overly expensive and the noise level is soo high we could barely hear each other.

Cant say enough about Mama Yo restaurant. Everything was fabulous from the minute we walked in until we left. Our waitress was superb, just sorry I didn't her name but she was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine and her recommendations were spot on. Great place to go for couples, meeting friends, groups all seem to be catered for. I will be back.

Slow service meant we didn’t even get offered the desert menu. Right after our mains we were told we had 20 mins until the next booking was arriving. We would have liked something sweet…perhaps longer sittings required.

Lovely space to sit in although a little cold. Once I mentioned it the staff turned off the air conditioning. The staff were excellent- the food is over priced and really not that good.

The best service we have received in a good while. Food was amazing. One of the dishes was a little bland and we mentioned it to the manager and he swapped the dish immediately and didn’t charge us for the dish on the bill. Really good service! We will be back!

We were really looking forward to trying Mama yo as we had heard raving reviews about it however we found the food fairly average I got duck spring rolls for starter these were lovely my husband had ribs the meat was very tough and the ribs were actually cold for mains I had the red prawns the prawns were cooked perfect but again the waiter had said they were spicey buy I actually found them quite bland my husband had beef and black bean again the beef was lovely and soft but again quite bland. There was 5 or 6 cocktails to choose from I had the sweet cocktail my husband had the spicey it was very spicey service for drinks was a bit slow we had our starters before we had our drinks also within ordering our starters they were out within 5 mins which we found the whole experience a bit quick again im glad we tried it but won't be rushing back the total bill was 137 euro for 2 starters 2 mains 3 cocktails and 1 pint of heineken

Quality of the food was very poor, very small portions and very expensive, there are far more authentic food experiences than this one available in Dublin, would not recommend at all

I visited mama yos with a group of friends. Overall, the food was amazing and the service was great. The only negative comment we would have relates to the table. We booked the space weeks in advance and unfortunately, we were placed near the entrance. Naturally, one would assume that such tables are reserved for walk-ins as they don’t particularly feed into the vibe of the restaurant. We felt as though we had just walked in and so the service felt slightly neglected due to this.
