    The place is great, and the food was perfect but unfortunately, the note that I added to the booking was not read and my husband's birthday was not like I wish when the dessert was served.

    I was expecting when I went to a MPW steakhouse restaurant that they would know to season a steak. They did not and the served it in the massive plate with nothing but the steak. It didn’t look appealing to me. Staff were nice and very accommodating but I guess I was just expecting more from the food.

    Food was ok but very overpriced and portions were not great for sides. Some of the staff friendly but on the whole not very welcoming and not very attentive. Plenty of other restaurants doing better food for same or lower price with much friendlier and better quality of service. Our hello was telling us they wanted the table back by a certain time. When it got to that time the restaurant was half empty. It was not the welcome I expect for the money we paid for dinner. Won't be going back.

    The potato was slightly not as brown and crisp as would like but the scallops, 28-day aged ribeye were really good! And the desserts crème brulee and toffee pudding were just exquisite!! A wonderful evening with family seeing my son off to RCSI! Thank you

    I’ve been to MPW Donnybrook a few times but tonight was my first time in the Dawson Street location. The food is impeccable. Tasty, perfect presentation and portion. We were served by very professional and friendly waiter Tamas, who surprised me with a lovely ice cream in a decorated plate written Happy Birthday, very sweet gesture I’ll always recommend this place! Thank you so much!

    Had the best meal /steak I've had in ages, a lovely attentive waitress from Italy served us. The wine was very good, reasonable price range. Four of us & we were all very pleased with our meals. Thank you. 😊

    We had booked Marco Pierre White’s for a first time visit to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I ordered the lamb medium well. However, what I got seemed very underdone. I tried to get the attention of the waiter to check that he had brought the correct order but to no avail. In the end, I ate most of it as my husband’s meal was fine and it didn’t look like it would be sorted before he would be finished. However, some of the meat was way too rare for me to attempt so I left it on the plate. Nobody came to check how our meal was so when the waiter returned to clear our plates, I asked him if the remaining meat was supposed to be medium well. He checked the order and said it was medium rare, which is what he thought I had wanted. He apologised and stated that it was hard to hear in the restaurant as it was very noisy. I assumed that the mistake would be taken into account on our bill and we went ahead and ordered dessert. I got the sticky toffee pudding. The first bite of this tasted warm, but subsequent bites alternated between hot and cold so I gave up, leaving half of it. My husband’s dessert was again fine. The waiter did ask when collecting the plates if everything was ok and my husband prompted me to say something but the waiter did not wait to hear an answer and just left swiftly. It then took quite some time to catch any waiter to request the bill. When it came, we found it was not discounted in any way given the waiter’s error on the lamb. Our bill came to just over €193. We should have just paid that but rounded up to €200 as my husband was happy with his meal. We then waited for the staff to bring our coats but this did not happen so we got up and queued at the desk for a few minutes until another waiter spotted us and promptly brought our coats. For such an expensive meal, it was a disappointment. I probably should have been more assertive in the restaurant about the bill given the error but at that point, I didn’t want to sour the evening any further.

    Very disappointed with the service. I found the staff very disrespectful in the manner that they addressed us. We dine out at least twice a week and have never encountered this type of attitude. We had guests with us from South Africa that were not impressed at all. Will not be going back.

    Our waiter, Valentino, really seemed like he’d rather be at home than at work. Very poor service, tried to rush us, had poor follow up and a bad attitude. It really left a bad taste in our mouths despite the excellent food.

    Was disappointed that website states early bird menu Sun - Friday from 4 to 6.30 but was not available Friday 8th September? No explanation given when we asked for early bird menu/ not available. Overall was a nice dining experience but pricey for literally just a steak and chips! Staff and service was very good and nice atmosphere. Nice touch at end of meal with a congratulations plate for our occasion 😊

    The food was good but not exceptional, considering the price. I don't mind paying a for great food but €40 for a very average rib eye steak does not represent good value for money. The staff are great & it has a lovely vibe but they need to up their food game to compete with so many great restaurants in Dublin. My dining partners were equally unimpressed.

    I went to this lovely restaurant on Saturday. The service was excellent. I was with two others. One friend left the restaurant as she had a very tickly throat and needed to cough. The manager followed her to make sure she was ok. He was very discreet and my friend was most impressed that the staff were so attentive. Our meals were excellent . We will return. I love this place. I've never been disappointed. Thank you!

    You have to try their French onion soup . It’s so lovely. Steak frites snd bearnaise sauce excellent too. Crème brûlée and Eton mess best we’ve ever had. Well done everyone

    Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill Dawson Street is definitely worth a visit. The menu offers a good variety. The dishes are very good quality (excellent) and the price is moderate for this type of quality establishment. There are some daily specials, a good choice of starters, mains and desserts. I particularly fancied the pickled onion rings, which were great. Will go again.
