    We celebrated my Sister-in-law’s BD last Thursday. Made reservation at 4, we were greeted when we came in and the hostess wished my SIL a happy birthday. We had the wagu taquitos and Japanese flavored fries for appetizers (delicious!), I had the skirt steak, my SIL had the short ribs, my Hubby had the sausage pizza. The skirt steak did not disappoint! Tender, well seasoned, had a crispy texture, a big mound of garlic mashed potatoes with a good sized scoop of seasoned butter along with stir fried seasoned green beans just cooked enough to still have a bit of a crunch for each bite (I don’t like soggy green beans!), my SIL had the short ribs which she really enjoyed, cooked so tender and slathered with a delicious gravy on top of mashed potatoes (it was a lot for her so she got to take half of it home), my hubby had the sausage pizza, which came sizzling hot. A good sized pizza for one he said it was good, I tried a piece of it and it tasted good cheesy and hot. (I’m a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onions and olive person). Our server was very attentive and pleasant. It was the perfect time of day, not crowded and the ambiance was soothing, we had time to catch up before we ordered. We had a very nice time and the food was very good as well as the service!

    Best place to eat been here many times and it never fails . Head chef Jose is an amazing passionate chef this place would not be what it is with out him thank you

    Always love our time at Market Tavern, our server Rosie and the manager Sofia are always just amazing. We will continue to come back every week and tell everyone how much we love it there.

    A very nice restaurant for Stockton. Better than expected with great food and menu. The "cut of the day" was a great rib eye steak and well worth the price. The Grilled Cornbread was a hit with a special butter that I'd love the recipe for. Rosie the waiter was also great serving us.

    Our food was fantastic and our server Jamie was over the top grade? We had 3 generations, a family there. She acknowledged the little ones and just made it a fun experience recommended a great drink to my wife and she loved it. Kudos to her and she also recommended the salmon. My wife said it was delicious
