Overcooked $40 halibut and cobia. My son liked his stuffed salmon. The risotto under my halibut tasted like chocolate. Yuck. Service was slow for drinks. I’d go back for one more try.

Great service but food was not impressive. Fish had no flavor and dry. Filet mignon drenched in just butter. Mac & cheese was dry and cheese taste alike Kraft cheese from home. For the price I expected more. I don't believe this is a real steakhouse (Morton's / Eddie V's) but more of a generic restaurant (Grand Lux)

Brought my Mom, Granny, and Aunt out for Mothers day. The service was excellent and the food was pretty tasty. The views are gorgeous i will definitely be back to check out some different entres.

Mother’s Day outing. The food was excellent. Service was a little slow, but understandable on a popular dining day. Everyone who served our table was very nice. We sat in the main dining room- noise level was a little high. Difficult to carry on a conversation across the table. But otherwise a nice dinner.

The food and ambiance was great. Our waitress was a little challenged. Sat us at a small table which was fine but every time she brought drinks and food, she never cleared our table and we had to keep hailing down bussers and waitress to help us until I just started picking up plates to hand to her the entire time. Our table was so crowded with empty plates and glasses that we kept knocking things over. I don’t mind doing that but when I have to do it the entire time I’m sitting there, it becomes an issue. When we were ready to order, she didn’t take it at the moment but went to service other tables then came back. Had to ask for bread. She took a long time to bring out our food. My mom’s food was wrong. Just went ahead and asked for the check at the same time as the dessert so we didn’t have to wait even longer. Our food was AMAZING!!!

Coming from Corpus Christi Texas, this was the best restaurant I ever been too, the waitress was had very excellent customer service skills and the food was the best, I highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

I took my wife for her 30th birthday last night and was excited to invite some friends out with us. Only to have lukewarm appetizers, I specifically asked for a round ice cube with my old fashioned and never received it. My ribeye was very chewy, and the mash potatoes were TERRIBLE had NO seasoning or flavor at all! Our reservation was at 8:45pm so I don’t know if maybe since it was a later reservation the kitchen was tired or what? As a Landry select member for the prices you guys charge, we just weren’t impressed at all with our visit!

We had a party of 15. Even though we were late for our reservations the food was not what we thought it would be. The entrees were cold. The appetizers were great. The server could have been a little nicer. Does it deserve to be a 5 star restaurant. Nope….more like 3 stars. They’re overpriced for nothing. We could have had better food for a cheaper price at Salt Grass.

I called to change reservation to 13, even got a confirmation email for 13! Our group of teens for prom said they were extremely rude and kept saying no it was 12. Then sat the extra person to the side corner of the table. Questioned the paying customer if they really called. I do wish I would of went in to help to at least sit them and show the email, I just thought professionalism would be considered at such a nice place. Cups were dirty. I’m just mostly extremely upset with the way they handled the accusation of the table, if you have it wrong apologize tell customer it’ll be a minute but there’s a way to do it politely. I’m not suprised bc when I called twice once for reservation another for a question about menu, person on phone was rude and talked to you like you are stupid.

Dinner and service were excellent. Where it failed was the dessert. The dessert offering they had for a place like that was embarrassing. They didn't have any type of cake, chocolate dessert. And what they did have was basic. We left and went to another restaurant to have dessert and finish our meal.

Well, this was the 2nd time that the service was below par, 2 different servers weeks apart, so now it's time to mention something. This server was very nice and cordial, but she disappeared for long periods of time. So tea/water wasn't refilled, we had to hunt her down to get to-go boxes and the check, etc. The restaurant wasn't close to being busy. She did make a good recommendation for my grandson, which was appreciated. On the food, 2 of the 4 meals were great, the poke bowl was way over dressed, so much dressing that the lettuce was drenched. The dressing was also pretty salty. The herbed grilled chicken didn't appear to have any herb seasoning on it at all and the chicken was bland. So all in all a less than satisfactory experience.

We sat on the patio on a perfect Houston afternoon! Calamari and Swordfish entrees were delicious along with Martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives! Our waiter, Hayden was professional and efficient. It was a perfect way to celebrate my 10 years of retirement! Thanks!
