    Had a table for 7 o clock, all my partners food came out first so it was after 8 when I got my tapas, was delicious when it came out but an hour wait is alot

    Amazing place for some tapas in Carlow town!!! The place is beautiful and the service is excellent! The tomatoes and feta bruschetta was 10 out of 10! We didn’t get to taste any desserts as we were full but we will on our next visit 🤩

    Warmly greeted and seated in a lovely area with open windows to our delight, on such a beautiful warm evening. Our party of 4 were quickly dealt with, orders taken efficiently from a lovely friendly and knowledgeable waitress (sorry I didn't get her name). All food ordered was top class and not much delay between courses, considering the place was busy. My daughter was celebrating her birthday and she got complimentary ice cream and even two members of staff found the time to sing her "Happy Birthday", a lovely personal touch, rarely found in establishments these days. Overall, I would rate Mimosa an excellent restaurant in all areas (ambience, decor, staff, service, food, pricing) and I would highly recommend to family and friends. Continued success to Mimosa, ye well deserve the praise. Thank you.

    As always, fab table, fab staff & just AMAZING tapas. Celebrating my sons 20th birthday, staff member was very good & discreet asking for his name. And had great fun watching him be surprised!! Also the gardens are looking STUNNING. 🥰🥰

    Waiters are not prepared on what’s on the menu. They are not able to give suggestions or explain the plates. Management should take more responsibility on that. One dish arrived immediately, then nothing for 15minutes, it was awkward and embarrassing staring at that lonely plate while being left waiting without knowing what to expect. I’d suggest collect a few dishes together with a bit of organization and not just throw on the table whatever is ready, just ‘cause is ready. Too bad the last dish arrived way too late, when the appetite was gone already :( The food in general was good, and there’s also a good atmosphere. Cocktails were well made. Quality went down a notch compared to this winter, we may try again and give it another chance, hope to see better organization, the place has potential.

If anyone in particular had a bad service it can happen & we are sorry if that did happen. however it seems more like the business that we have been running for 16 yrs now this way doesn't really suit you as we are casual & relaxed & reading your comments a more formal restaurant might be a better fit.     Have visited here on many occasion. Absolutely fabulous restaurant .The surroundings are stunning both inside and out. The best in Carlow without a doubt. The menu has a great variety to suit all tastes. The deserts are a must especially the hot crunchie mess and the cocktails are amazing. The staff are very efficient and so friendly. Great for giving advice on different dishes to try. Looking forward to next visit in a few weeks time

    A super tapas restaurant, had 7 dishes, and loved them all. Add a dessert, 2 coffees and large jug of sangria, the total bill came to €83. Staff were friendly and attentive, the place was buzzing when we arrived at 6.30, and the outdoor garden area so pretty in the sunshine. We're already planning a return visit.

    We had a great ladies night out , there were 5 of us fantastic food, super atmosphere and the service was really excellent. Water jugs were always full, food came at good intervals and nothing was a problem. Mocktails recommended for non drinkers i was the designated driver and didn’t feel like I was missing out at all.
