Lovely dinner with attentive service and absolutely delicious food. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience!

Dinner was booked for 7pm so we arrived at 6:55pm and were told we had to wait outside as they were not ready which wasn’t a great start. The service was fine. The ambience was nice apart from the two large tears in the seats. Food was ok.

Claimed they don’t use OpenTable and couldn’t find my booking despite having a paid £100 deposit and came across like I was being a done favour IF they could sort it out. Once resolved after staying we had travelled 50 miles we were seated and told we had an hour and a half. Food was decent and had a good server. Wouldn’t come back again

Service was really bad, half the dishes we wanted was unavailable. Great atmosphere. But unfortunately we waited over one hour for food. Waiters was very apologetic and offered us drinks.

My advice, go somewhere else. I came here with 4 girlfriends after seeing posts online, we thought we'd treat ourselves and try Mistress out. Our booking was at 8pm and it was pretty empty, but at 9pm the place filled up and the DJ started playing music. Firstly and upon arrival, they wanted to stick the 5 of us on a 2 x 2 person sofa, so we had to ask if they could add a chair on the end of the table so we wouldn't have to squeeze 3 of us on a 2 person sofa. Secondly, my friend found a hair in her salad, so she was left with only £10 fries for her dinner as she felt sick from seeing it. The restaurant, as compensation, gave the 3 glasses of wine that we ordered, on the house (my friend with the hair in her salad didn't even order a glass of wine herself). Thirdly, I know this is a Mayfair restaurant, with Mayfair prices, but as a group of hard working, professional ladies, one just can't help but feel totally ridiculed by the price to quality to serving size received here. The food was nothing impressive, in fact, dry. Finally, the waiter tried to scam us. I put a £50 per person deposit to confirm our booking. I knew that with the 3 x glasses of wine that were complimentary for the hair-salad issue, none of us would reach the £50 per person deposit amount, I was owed money back. But the waiter came to me and told me that with the drinks on the house, the bill is sorted and they've closed the tab. He wanted to take me as a fool? I asked him to show me the breakdown of the bill. So he went away and another waiter came back with, in fact, a refund of £72. The previous waiter was unable to show his face again for the fact he tried to get off with this lie. Are they trained to work this way in a place like this? Hoping we are dumb enough to not think twice? We didn't want to stay there a minute more than we needed to, we were in and out in under 1h30mins. We got out and went to have dessert and tried to make the most of our girls-night elsewhere. Shame.

Maria looked after us I can’t put into words how much she made our trip to Mistress worth it! She was unbelievable the food was unmatched and for the entertainment I have no words it was absolutely brilliant, the front of house staff were so bubbly and there to help no matter what, definitely worth every penny, thank you so much to Maria and the team at Mistress of Mayfair
