Welcome to Mojave Cantina! We strive to serve Tex-Mex style food made with fresh ingredients in a fun and relaxing environment! We have three locations, one in Clawson, Michigan, one in White Lake, Michigan, and our newest South Lyon, Michigan location which opened in the Fall of 2023. Really enjoyed the enchiladas for the first time in awhile! Glad we came back and Elsa’s service was great!

Server couldn't make drink recommendations because she wasn't 21, which I guess I understand. But she couldn't make any food recommendations either because she was new and hadn't tried anything but the chips and salsa. After we cashed out, the server never returned and we sat there for almost an hour with no water or drink refills. Food was delicious and the server was nice but I guess we just expected more.

This was our first time going and we should've left at the door. Only went because of the 5 star reviews, only to find out the restaurant gives customers a $10 gift certificate for giving a 5 star review. Food was good, the server was no where to be found, and felt like we were being held hostage after eating. We waited around 20 minutes for the bill, my second drink never came. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere if you're looking to go out for Mexican food.

Hopefully, this is our first and last subpar meal at Mojave Cantina. While the service was quite good, the chicken enchiladas (which I have previously commented on OpenTable were some of the best I had ever eaten) were dry, tasteless and disappointing. The chimichangas were no better. When I communicated to the manager on staff at the time, all I got was “I will let the kitchen know”…Almost $80 including tip for 3 at lunch is way too much spend if the quality isn’t there…

The chicken, shrimp and birria enchiladas were delicious as usual as well as the watermelon margarita, I tried for the first! Elsa’s service was also top notch!

We had reservations for 10 and had to wait 15 minutes. Then, wait 15 minutes for a server who was inattentive. Some of the food was cold, missing sour cream and ingredients described on menu. Table was not cleared while we waited 15 minutes to get the bill.

Mojave was a good Mexican Resturant. It had some new flavors. I loved the red pepper sauce. Everything was wonderful. Always a chance when you go to another Mexican restaurant other than your usual place. Mojave was a good choice. We will return when we are back in that area.
